Accidentally, quite literally, getting bumped into by Pope Heyward, the two boys instanly clicked. Seeing the potential in this newfound friendship, Pope took it upon himself to invite the brunette to spend a day with the pogues, which he happily accepted.

Isaac Humphreys found himself quickly becoming close with Kiara Carrera, most of anyone. The fact that two were statistically kooks, and as crude as it may sound, the pair bonded over the lives they didn't quite find accepting. The act of friendship made the rest of the boys jealous, as there were too many unknown reasons. Isaac had secrets, some more damaging to his families critical status in the community. He was a good kid- the greatest. Isaac has a soft heart, one that he held dear to him as he tended to put himself last in sake of others. He hates the act of fitting in; it felt like he was being crammed into a box he wasn't meant for. The fake smiles and small talk became second nature for him, and it always left a rotting taste in his mouth. He was delicate and a good friend. And like said, it made it all the more confusing.

JJ Maybank really liked the guy, thinking Isaac was a cool guy who he'd occasionally show the party tricks he had at the parties they attended. And it was strange, to how he had never felt this sort of pull in his heart when he saw anyone else's smile. JJ aimed to crack more jokes around Isaac- maybe to see him tick, or break, or what buttons he pressed. Some sort of reaction should've led JJ to figuring more about the boy, but by the way Isaac's ears got red and eyes dilated towards any hint of relationships or flirting . . . Maybe the blonde had to try it out himself.

However, the Maybank boy got caught up in his usual antics. And after seeing the him macking on a girl at one of their annual kegs, Isaac couldn't help himself but excuse himself and run to his best friend's house- Sloan Bennington. It seemed like forever since they had talked, but they always had each other's backs, ever since the early years. They knew everything about the other. Everything. So one thing lead to another- Isaac gained a fake girlfriend in hopes of making the boy he gained feelings for jealous.
