"Hera! Hera!"

I stopped petting my pet peacock when I heard Aphrodite call me.

"What is it, Aphrodite?" I asked her with a raised eyebrow.

"I just saw Zeus with Io. He's cheating on you again!"

My anger boiled within me as I stormed out the golden palace and went down from Mt. Olympus.

That Zeus! How many times has he cheated on me already? Does he need me to zap every girl I see?

I saw Io surrounded by clouds yet I knew it was Zeus.

"Zeus!" I shouted.

Furious, I snapped my fingers and turned Io into a cow.

Zeus finally transformed back to his god self.

"Hera, darling!" he said, surprised.

"Don't you 'Hera, darling' me! I am taking your filthy mistress with me!" I slapped him and dragged Io, now a cow, far from him.

"Argos!" I called out to the oh-so loyal Argos.

"Yes, my queen?" He bowed down to me.

"Guard this cow for me. Don't let her out of your sight!"

"Yes, my queen!"

Io was now the least of my concern but then I found out that Argos was killed by Hermes, one of Zeus' bastards. He even set that wench free!

I confronted my husband about it.

"You killed Argos!" I pointed at him.

"Technically, Hermes did," he answered.

"Oh don't play smart with me. Y-you! Why are you always cheating on me?" I asked him almost tearing up. But no. I cannot let him see my tears.

"You care for your mistresses more than me. You'd rather spend time with them than me. Am I even your wife? Why did we even marry?"

"Honey, I sense that you're trying to..." he trailed off like he couldn't accept what he wanted to say. "No! We are not divorcing!"

"Yes, we are! I can't live like this. I can't keep punishing those ladies because of you."

"Hera, Hera, listen...I promise I wouldn't cheat again but please stay with me..." Then he started kissing me and I had to kiss back. I still do love him.

And something happened to us that night which made me content with what he promised.

Days passed, so did the months and I haven't even heard of him cheating which made me happy.

But then...

"Mother!" my daughter, Hebe, called me.

"Yes?"

"Father! Father's--"

I stood up, my heart beating fast. "What happened to Zeus?!"

"He had impregnated Callisto!"

"W-what?" My knees wobbled.

No...he promised me.

"But no need to punish the woman. Artemis already did that and turned her into a bear!"

I didn't care about the punishment anymore. I didn't care what Artemis did.

All I thought was that...he broke his promise to me.

I broke down in front of my daughter. And she came to my aid and comforted me.

"Hush, mother. Do not cry."

But I still did.

He cheated yet again. Again and again.

It's funny how I am the goddess of marriage and yet...my marriage is a wreck.
