Chapter 1: That faithful night on Halloween.

It was a nice night outside it was beautiful. James and lily were playing with their one year old son Harry potter. Then they heard a knock on the door.
James got up and opened the door it was a black hood figured.
"Hello potters"
"Lily he here take harry and go". Fear in his voice. Lily took Harry and ran.
"Hello Mr.Potter what a beautiful son you have".
"Get away you bloody bastard". Angry in James voiced.
"Mr.Potter if you joined me your wife and you will br untouched"
"I never will never joined you"
"Joined me or you will  die with your son".Voldemort was said evilly
"Never"
"Fine then" Voldemort smirk evilly. " Avada Kedavra" James jump out of the way just in time. The curse nearly missing his head. "Avada Kedavra" this time it hit  the wall causing a expulsion behind James. The wall crumpled and knock James on the head. Knocking him out.Voldemort walk up stairs hearing harry crying and lily shouting  " notharry not harry you bastard" She made to harrys room she immediately locked the door. Sobbing knowing their was no hope. The door was blast open the man walking in with wand ready. Lily sobbing again" not harry not harry". Voldemort was getting angry he wasn't going let a mudblood to push him around. " stay aside now silly girl" lily did not take ot she was going to protect her son." Take me instead kill me not my son please I beg of you". Voldemort smile evilly so that how it is. " Avada Kedavra" Lily fell to the ground. Voldemort walk forward. "Now it your turn brat" Voldemort raised his wand. " Avada Kedavra" Once the curse hit Harry head the curse rebounded and bounce back to voldemort. Voldemort eyes widen his eyes but their was no time to react. The curse hit him and he fell to the ground. Soon after Sirius Black barge in and he gasp what he saw. A million thoughts ran through his head. He fail. He fail. His best friend is dead. His wife is dead. Even now his one year old godson was dead. Then he something. He turn and saw James waking up. Rushing to his side so grateful that he still had his friend.
"James"
"James I am so sorry I" James stop he. "Padfoot their nothing to ve sorry for"
"But James I fail you"
James look into his eyes about to about say something. But stop when they heard someone crying.  They immediately rush to the room it was coming from. James saw Lily and check over and sadness took discovering that she was hit by the killing curse.Butwas relieved harry was completely unharmed. Well except for the scar on his head .James look at Sirius
"See Padfoot they are harry fine you were only being dramatic like always" Sirius look at James.
Shut up prongs this is serious".
"But you are Sirius" Sirius just stood their flaring at his friend while James was smirking Victorious. "James are we just going stand here to mock poor old me or are going call Dumbledore because maybe he can help Lily before its to late". James huff knowing Sirius was right.
"Fine Padfoot". James went call Dumbledore be using floo once Dumbledore saw Lily.
"Hurry we must get Lily to St.Mungos if we are going save her".
They brought lily to St.Mungos. The doctors save her just in time before it was to late. After a few hours Lily awoke. James ,Sirius and harry went to see Lily. When Harry saw Lily he struggled to getaway from his father.
" Fine if you see your mother instead of spending time me their". Harry snuggled into Lily arm which made Lily smile.
"Hello darling how my little boy doing". Harry was so grateful to see his mom. Lily tried to get Harry to say mama.
"No Harry say mama,Mama".After awhile harry finally said something.
"Snadfoot" Harry said adorably.
James and Sirius started snickering awhile Lily look furious.
"Hey their Snadfoot"James said still snickering.
"Shut up Prongs, your the one" but was cut off when Harry said
"Rongs" Now Sirius and James were full on laughing.
"James" Lily said with angry in her voice. "If you even try to teach how to be a marauder I will rip you to shreds" Then she look at Sirius " I can't believe Harry first word was Padfoot".
"Lily I believe it was Snadfoot not Padfoot" She look at him with glaring eye's. He knew now was to stop. He saw Harry and took to Godric Hollow allowing James to stay with his wife.
