My name's Mélissa and I started writing this book with my friend. I'm 15 years old and it's the 1st book I've ever written so I hope you guys enjoy reading this 1st chapter!!

CHAPTER 1
Alexandra's POV
Basically today is my first day of summer holidays and all my friends were traveling and unfortunately I'm stuck here, in New York. Don't get me wrong I love it here but it's starting to feel like a routine and it's quite boring.
I live here with my mom which I'm really close to. I don't really get to see my dad since he's always traveling for work but we always keep in touch.
After taking a quick shower and putting some clothes on, I decided to take my dog for a walk. I went downstairs to take a cereal bar and as soon as I stepped in the kitchen I saw my mom reading a journal while drinking her coffee.
"Mornin' Mom, i'm taking Kai for a walk "
"Hi honey, okay and be careful".
When I went outside the sun was shining and it was a perfect time to take my dog for a walk. While I was walking my phone rang so I pulled it out of my pocket to answer it.
Without realizing it, I dropped kai's leech of my hand. She started running so I ran after her and screamed " Kaiii come back! ".
Suddenly I felt like I bumped into someone and when I turned around, I saw a guy on the ground. When I looked at the person, I was surprised to see that it was a boy with curly brown hair and beautiful green eyes!
" Oh my God I'm so sorry! Are you okay ? " I said
" it's fine , I'm fine ! " he said , he had this British accent that I always loved.
" I'm really sorry ! My dog just suddenly ran away while I was trying to answer my phone, I'm really sorry"
" Well it's fine. Don't worry about it. By the way I'm Harry , Harry Styles. "
" I'm Alexandra and sorry again "
" Stop it " he said
" What? Stop what? " He looked so serious and I was confused.
" Stop saying I'm sorry ! " He said with a laugh.
" Sorry " I giggled and he laughed again. He had that gorgeous little smirk that I've never seen on any guy before.
" You're really cute Alexandra " he caught my attention by saying that and without letting me answer he continued " I didn't catch your last name"
" Emm it's emm " Did I just forget my last name ? " It's Dail , Alexandra Dail, but you can call me Alex" I said with a smile.
" Well nice to meet you Alex, Do you mind me walking with you and your dog ?"
A lot of people called me Alex but with his voice and accent it sounded so much better. Something about him really caught my eye and I really wanted to get to know him better. There's only one problem: I'm really shy...
" I would love to " I replied trying to sound as confident as possible.
