chapter 23

We arrived to the hospital and they rushed laynee to a room. I then noticed her ankles were also really bloody and I started to cry even more. She lost alot of blood and its going to be hard for her to recover.

Y:please take care of her.
D:we will do our best.

I then sat down in a chair with my head buried in my knees. Afew minutes later noah had arrived as well with the guys. Including blake.

N:hey baby.
Y:h-hey.
He then sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around me.
Y:this is all my fault. If only i was there for her.
Ni:dont say that y/n. She brought this upon herself.
Y:but i was the one that wasnt there for her. We wouldn't be here right now!
N:baby its okay everything will be alright.

*2 hours later*
It was now 4am and nothing has come up.everyone was asleep but I just sat there thinking. I really should've been there for her. I never should've said anything to anyone.i then just got up and got a cup of water.

When I came back I noticed blake was awake.
Y:oh hey.
Bl:hey
It looked like he has been crying.
Y:hey everything will be alright.
Bl:this shouldn't have happened. We all shouldve been there for her.

Y:hey...
I then sat next to him and hugged him.
Y:laynee is strong and she will be okay.
Bl:she slit both of her arms and ankles. No one can resist losing that much blood.
He then started crying and laid on my lap.

I started playing with his hair and eventually we both fell asleep.

*30 minutes later*
I woke up to the doctor calling my name.
I woke blake up and we both stood up fast, along with everyone else and we went up to the doctor.
Y:is everything alright?
D:im really sorry ma'am.
Y:n-no p-please.
D:I really am sorry ma'am but your sister passed away afew minutes ago.

I fell to my knees. No. How could this happen. I heard blake crying as well. I stood up and hugged him.
D:ill give you guys a minute.
He then walked away and everybody just couldn't believe what happened.

I finally let go of blake and just cried to myself.
N:come here bebe.
I then went over to noah and hugged him.
N:im so sorry mamas.
Y:why did this happen. I never shouldve left her side.
N:you never did. She left yours.
Y:but-
N:baby its alright okay? Let's just tell the doctor we are going to head home

After letting the doctor know we all left crying. I just couldnt believe my sister died. I'm the only one left in my family. I only had noah and the guys left. Before I knew it i fell asleep.

I woke up to noah gently shaking me.
N:baby wake up. we're here.
Y:okay.
I then took of my seat belt and got off.

We walked inside and i went to noahs room and broke down.
N:lets get some rest mamas. You really need it.
Y:thanks baby. I love you.
I gave him a kiss.
N:i love you too mi amor.
He then walked out and i fell asleep crying.

*later that day*
I woke up and i saw nick and ryland sitting next to me on their phones.
Y:what are you guys doing here.
Ni:we came to comfort you.
Y:i love you guys
I then hugged both of them and sat up.
Ry:btw everyone left for a meeting they had but they'll be back in afew hours.

Y:oh okay. Can we go somewhere? I need to take my mind off of everything at the moment.
Ni:yeah of course where do you wanna go?
Y:lets go to taco bell and then we can come back and watch movies. Sound good?

Ry:yeah lets go.
We then put our shoes on and headed to my car. I drove, nick sat in the passenger seat and ryland sat in the back. We just sat there in silence. I then decided to play music and just my luck, the song me and laynee always listened to together.

I started to tear up and I just turned the music off.
Ni:whats wrong?
Y:n-nothing its just the s-song was the one me and l-layne used to listen to t-together.
Ni:im so sorry y/n.
Y:its fine lets just hurry up.

We then arrived to taco bell and we ordered our food. We drove up to the first window and we noticed the same girl that liked ryland.

?:oh hey you're back!
Y:yeah.
I then payed and before i could go the girl stopped us.
?:hey Is your cute friend with you

Ryland then rolled his window down.
Ry:hey.
?:oh hey. Well I wanted to ask if we can go out sometime?
Ryland then looked at us.
Ni:what are you looking at us for?
Ry:sure ill call you when I can.
?:awesome.

I then went to the second window and got our food. After getting it we went to my house instead of sway.

Ni:so what movie do you guys wanna watch?
Y:you guys choose.
Ry:ready player one.
Ni:okay then.

Right when we were about to start the movie we heard a knock on the door.
I got up and opened the door.
Y:ruby?
R:hey.
