I was just chillin with Payton in the car we were talking and telling jokes until he got a message and after the message he got quiet....I asked him
"Hey payt what's up?"
He looked at me then he's sneakers and sighed and said
"I...I haven't been fully honest with you"
I smiled and said nervously
"U-I what do you mean"
Payton said
"I'm...im on of them"
I widened my eyes and said
"What?!"
Payton puts his hands in his face I have so many emptiness right now I don't know which one to express first Payton looks at me and says
"Y/n"
I wasn't listing to him and he said again
"Y/n listen to me"
I looked at him and raised an eyebrow and he continued to say stuff that wouldn't change my mind.... or so I though..
"Look I'm sorry okay...I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner"

Payton's P.O.V
we were 10 years old we were chilling drinking our juice box's thinkin
"Damn one day I'm fonna rule this world"
Y/n laughed and I said
"What?"
She smiled and said
"Your thinking out loud payt"
I loved her from the beginning and I didn't stop but then we same a shadow walking in the distance we ran to the back of the house and he had a gun so we were scared obviously I remember my dad had this thingy at the back of the house were it had a gun he gave me full permission to use it only when needed so I pressed it and a loaded gun came out and I knew how to use it I only had it to protect....y/n she was all I cared about that moment the guy was now gone but....we heard gun shots I heard someone fall and I grabbed y/n hand and ran to this little house we had in the back and I pulled her behind me she was scared and said
"Payton I'm scared I want my mom"
I looked at her with tears in her eyes and said
"Moms gonna be here any minute y/n trust me"
She smiled which made me smile and we saw the guy he looked about 5,9 I couldn't take him myself so I put my finger over my mouth and said "sh" a couple minutes later y/n mom came running out screaming"Y/N, PAYTON BABYS WHERE ARE YOU?!"
Y/n mom was like my second mom I grabbed y/n hand and ran over to her and I gave her the gun and she smiled and said "kids uh meet me in the car hurry please"
I was confused and said
"But where my dad?"
She had tears in her eyes and said
"Your dads in a beautiful place right now"
I got mad and said
"Why didn't he take me"
Y/n mom smile faded away and picked us both up and put us in the car she dialed 911 shortly after calming herself down but I saw the same guy he had black hair he looked white and I saw the gun on y/n moms seat I grabbed it and tried shooting him I shot him and he fell I smiled and I hear y/n mom scream
"SWEETIE OMG HUNNY"
I saw Payton's dad run out the house with blood going everywhere he fell I tried getting out the car but child lock was on I heard him tell me 3 things...
1.) protect y/n with all my life
2.)always put people I love in front of me
3.)I love you so much you were always be my little one
And he passed away I rolled down the window and shot the guy again with tears now going all over my shirt and y/n rolled the window up and pulled me in for a hug I hugged her back and she was crying she said
"I saw my dad he died 2 minutes ago because of that guy I'm so dumb for making so much noise early"
I put my hand in her face and said
"Y/n never say that about yourself your the most beautiful,loving,caring,special,person I've ever met and I love you for that so your not allowed to say that"
She smiled and said
"I love you too payt"

Still Payton's pov doe ✌️
I sighed and said
"Y/n my dad told me to protect you and that's what I'm doing I'm putting the people I love first"
Y/n sighed and said
"Okay then....."
There was silence between us for a while till we got to her house she grabbed the door to open it but looked back and me and lightly pulled my face towards her and kissed me I kissed her back and she smiled and pulled away and said
"OMG I'm sorry"
I smiled and said
"Y/n it's fine"
She smiled and I kissed her cheek

after that kiss I wanted to invite him inside so I knocked on the window he rolled it down I leaned on the car facing him and said
"Wanna come in"
His straight face turned into a smiling strawberry I laughed and he said
"What?"
I said while laughing
"your face is red"
He covered his face with his hand and said
"I'll be inside soon"
I smiled and walking inside I heard someone upstairs though I looked back at Payton he looked at me and I did hand movements telling him I heard something he got out his car and came inside with me he looked around the first floor and when we went to my bed room I couldn't believe it he snuck into my house it was......
