Chapter 3:
Syrius Bellatrix POV:
(Hello Boyfriend Stealer)
“Did you hear?” A squeaky voice who belonged to none other than Kimberley, the girl who knows dirt about everyone. She is the number one gossiper in the entire school, she’s like Gretchen Weiners from Mean Girls. They could be twins actually, in my opinion. She knew everything about Courtney and sometimes I want to pop her head like a pimple so I could have something to stand up for myself.
“What?” Lily asked in her usual irritating, nasal voice. I rolled my eye at their stupid gossip. Lily is the type of person who does not talk to anyone unless she absolutely has to. I remember once, I was partnered with her, and she ignored me the entire time. Needless to say, I did all the work on that project.
“Parker won another fight.”
What’s new?
“Really?” She asked as if he never wins. This is what I have to listen to all period? These two are apart of Courtney’s army of skanks. They harass me sometimes too, but not as much, they just follow their leader. It’s pretty funny sometimes because they do the stupids things and always become scapegoats.
“Totally! Like, anyway, I saw Jen Torres go into the janitors closet with Ryan Vega.” Kimberly lowered her voice, but everyone around them heard. Lily gasping loudly didn’t help.
“That whore!” She whisper-yelled.
“I know right!”
Please someone shoot me now...
The shrill bell rang signalling that fourth period was over.
...Or that could work
I get up and head over to lunch. I feel my phone vibrate twice indicating that I got a text. I look down to see it was my best friend Seth. Reading the text, I didn’t realize that Courtney was there, until she shoved me. My phone flew out of my hands and the case broke off and My butt met the floor.
“Hello, loser.”
I look up to see Courtney with a triumphant smirk placed on her lips along with Craig who was next to her with a blank face. Her hands were on her hip and she held her head so high that you would need a ladder to get it down. She just wanted to remind me that I was beneath her, and nothing I could say or do could change that.
I understood that.
So why doesn’t she leave me alone?
“What are you up to now? Find a new boyfriend?” Her tone, mocking, while she looked at me in disgust while Craig just stood there.
Coward.
If I did find a boyfriend I’m pretty sure your whoreness would draw him away.
She knew that my heart was cracking even more with every word that fell from her lips. What hurts the most is that everything she has said and probably will say to me is true.
He left me for her.
He cheated on me because I wasn’t ready.
He broke my heart, and left me to pick up the pieces.
I wish for nothing more than for her tyranny at this school to end. Because its not only my life she’s ruining, its almost everyone’s. The only reason she’s on top is because of who she sleeps with. Everyone knows that she’s cheating on him, well except for Craig. And no one has the guts to tell anyway.
