Chapter 41: Mission with the Captains?

The two captains decided to take a mission from the wizard king; Julius Novachrono. Julius ' plan is that they should at least have another person in the hunt, so if a catastrophe happened they can contact others to help them or assist them.

Fuegoleon decided to go with Ysabelle, he thought of Leopold first, but then remembering that his little brother is like his older sister (who's coming with him) but in a different gender and body. And he can't have two kids running around or at least killing everything.

Mereoleona didn't said anything and just told Leopold to fetch the black haired girl. To their surprise Leopold didn't get frustrated because he didn't got picked by his siblings, but they just let it slide, thinking that the vermillion kid were in a good mood.

Soon they heard a faint three knocks on the wooden door, Fuegoleon said 'come in' and the door slowly opened, Ysabelle halt and bowed. While Fuegoleon told her to sit down and she did, she sat in front of her two captains.

"Leopold told me that you want me in your office, do you want me to do or fetch something, captain?" Ysabelle asked politely.

Fuegoleon cleared his throat before starting to speak, "Julius-sama told us a mission, apparently a lot of people have been getting anxious about a cave near Raque. The cave has an interrupting mana from it, but everyone thought that it's just because of the strong mana from the strong hold. But from further inspections, the cave is quite far from the strong region."

"So, long-story short, we were ordered that we need to explore the cave and see if there's something more to it?" Ysabelle asked while tilting her head to the side.

The two nodded, "It occurs during night time, so we should get ready now." Fuegoleon added.

Ysabelle got up and bowed, then walked out. Mereoleona said that she should at least packed a little. So that's what the black haired girl did.

She just wear a black turtleneck, with a pair of black ripped jeans. She put on her robe and walked out of her room. She carried some healing potion to help them if they got hurt.

When she opened the door she was greeted by her own captain; Mereoleona. "Come on, we need to hurry." The vermillion haired said.

Ysabelle followed her Captain, and soon they met with Fuegoleon. "Oi, can you create an eagle? Or something to fly?" Mereoleona asked Ysabelle.

Ysabelle created a griffin from the power of Satan. They all ride it and went to Raque.

Minutes Later...

Soon they arrived at Raque and Mereoleona ordered Ysabelle to ask the people about the cave. Ysabelle decided to ask some of the workers and some visitors, to their own opinion and perspective. Apparently, the cave do have a huge intimidatingly mana, and they sometimes hear growls and scratches in the inside of the cave. Even though the cave is kind of far from the beach, they still hear all of the scratching and growling of something inside of it. The workers said that most of the nobles were scared of Raque because of this cave and wouldn't visit anymore. Ysabelle thanked the workers and other visitors for their cooperation.
