"TAKE... ME... ON! I'LL... BE... GONE!" The eldest member of the Bokuto family sang on the top of his lungs.

"IN A DAY OR TWO!" Their son sang along as he wrapped his arm around his father's shoulder.

"Jesus Christ, you boys need to lower your dang voices! I'm going to receive some complaints tonight," the only lady in the house laughed as she untied her apron and hung them on the hanger in the kitchen before joining them. "What are you two singing anyway? I can barely hear the song!"

"My favorite song, dear," the father told her as he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her from the ground, hearing her adorable laughter while spinning her around. Then the father quickly yet gently put her down and whined, "I almost break my back! You've gotten heavier, dear!"

"'Course I am! Don't you remember I gave birth to this troublemaker son of ours?" The mother then softly pinched both of Bokuto's cheeks which made him laugh. She awed at her son, "You've grown to such a big boy, Kou,"

"I have grown a few inches recently," Bokuto said with a big grin.

The father then laughed at him before patting his back a little too rough and said, "That's my boy, Koutarou! Hey, hey! Do you remember the Bon Jovi song that I showed you?"

"Oh! Livin' On A Prayer!" Bokuto guessed and his father laughed approvingly as the three of them sang along together, his mother has given herself in to join their ruckus on that evening - enjoying the rare moments as a family for once in a while.

Bokuto Koutarou is the only child in this family and his parents are always busy with work, but that doesn't make him hate them for neglecting their only son. Truthfully, if Bokuto didn't have Akaashi, he would've become someone irritating and indecorous.

It's not like he isn't now, but he's still a good boy with manners and knows how to behave himself when his parents are absent to scold him. Akaashi, however, is always there to shower Bokuto with attention and praises - and now with kisses that Bokuto demands to receive as a boyfriend. He loves his hugs, kisses, and compliments coming out of his boyfriend's lips, therefore he doesn't need to depend on his parents.

Suddenly, the song changed to something that Bokuto rarely listens to but he had heard them once or twice before. He saw his parents are looking at each other with sheepish smiles before doing a slow dance together, ignoring the fact that their son is still there, watching them being an adorable old couple.

"When the night has come, and the land is dark. And the moon is the only light we'll see," his father sang terribly, which the mother laughed at, but soon she was showered by kisses from her husband. Bokuto couldn't help but awed at the scene, then decided to just sit down on the sofa while watching them dancing.

"Oh, Kou. This was our first song that we listened to when we were younger," his mother told her son as she rested her cheek on her husband's shoulder.

"And it became her favorite song ever since," the father completed the story which made Bokuto beam at the story. They always have this adorable old romance about their previous relationship before marriage.

"Your father chose this song as our wedding song by my surprise too," his mother laughed at the story before singing, "Ah, this is my favorite part. If the sky that we look upon, should tumble and fall. Or the mountain should crumble to the sea, I won't cry,"

Bokuto's eyes softened as he watched his parents happily slow dance in the living room while listening to their song, pushing away all the furniture to make some room for them. The golden eyed lad son couldn't help but smile lovingly, and somehow his mind started to imagine all the things he'd do with Akaashi.
