I closed my eyes but quickly opened them for fear of losing my sight again. Which was silly of me but still made me afraid.

When I opened my eyes, the ghost type thing had returned to my mom's side; she had went to stand by my dad so he could hold her up, supporting her elbow.

"Was this even a possibility? How?" All of a sudden..."
My mom's voice floated through my head, but I couldn't actually hear from her mouth.

"I wish I knew. But I don't even want to question it." I looked at the ghost thingy above my mom's head and then saw a ghost thingy above my dad's head covering it's mouth with its hands, staring at me. "What I do want to question is... does anyone else see those people floating above your heads?"

On top of my head I felt as if my hair was being ruffled. I shook my head and looked up. I had my own ghost. My eyes widened and I fell out my chair trying to put distance between us, but it floated closer to me.

It was a guy, he stared at me with hallow eyes and a sullen face.
"You shouldn't have said anything." I heard him say as clear as day.

"Wh-what? Please explain to me what's going on." I asked him, unable to look away.

"We don't know, we'll call your doctor."
My dad's voice floated from across the room, he said some more things but they disappeared in the air.

"Come with me, Iris." The ghost guy extended his see-through hand to me.

I laughed out of nervousness. "How am I supposed to hold hands with a ghost?"

"Just grab my hand." He said sternly.

"Who are you talking to?" My mom's voice sounded closer yet still far away.

I ignored her and quickly grabbed his hand.

I wasn't scared, I was only curious. But other than that, I didn't feel anything, especially when I grabbed his hand. Everything faded around me and suddenly I wasn't in my dining room anymore.
