LUCYS P.O.V

I let out a blood curtailing scream. Something had ahold of my head and was pulling me towards the bathroom mirror. My scalp felt like it was being ripped right off my head. I screamed again.

"Someone! Please help me!"

Then I looked up and saw what faintly looked like an arm. It was pale and was frail. It pulled my head into the mirror. Then everything went black.

MELONYS P.O.V

I frantically pushed multiple buttons trying to start the machine. A spark erupted from the huge circular object.
"Damn!" I slammed the control board. Then the machine just for a mere second, lit up like a portal, the light blinding my eyes. I reached my hand through the light. Nothing. I shut it down.
"Must have been just telepathic" I picked up my cat Pipin and petted her head.
"We will try again in a few years maybe, it has to reboot"
LUCYS P. O. V

I woke up my heart racing. I looked around my room.
"Thank god" I mumbled.
"I wonder- never mind it was just a dream right Toby?"
I said picking up my cat and petting his head. Then putting him back down. I sat up and grabbed my hairbrush. I was just about to brush my hair when my phone rang.
"Hullo?"
"Hey lucyyyyy!"
"What's wrong this time Amy?" I asked a bit annoyed.
"Welllll nothing's wrong but Miranda just told me that Stacy is-"
I hung up on her, too tired to listen to her blabbing on about other peoples lives. I then proceeded to get up, and go to the bathroom. I looked at the mirror. For some reason it looked a little different today. It looked as if someone had scratched the glass.
"Nah"
Then I proceeded to brush my hair. I then did my makeup, got dressed then went downstairs to eat.
"Morning" greeted my mum.
"Morning mum"
"There's waffles in the fridge"
"Thanks" I muttered.
I put my waffle in the toaster quickly, and when it was done i buttered it, and then shoved it in my mouth in an effort to get to school quickly.
"I'm going to school now see you later"
She waved goodbye to me but didn't look up from the magazine she was reading. I walked out the door to head for my car. The one I had bought myself, my parents didn't really give a hoot if I could drive or not. I jumped in my car and started it. I put it into forward then started to drive off. The wind rushing through my hair, I enjoyed the freedom of being out of the house, on my own. The rest of the day was pretty normal. I went to school, went to every class I usually go to, and had the same schedule I had almost all my life. That is until today.
