Chapter 2

When volleyball was finally finished, Riley and I went to the locker room to get dressed. We were walking out then all the sudden I heard girls scream.

Riley and I looked at each other then ran to the sound. When we got to the sound. I saw girls jumping up and down looking at one person's iPad.

We walked over and Riley asked "What's all the commotion?" 

The girls screamed " One Direction is hosting a singing video contest, and who ever wins gets to go to London and make a single with them! Also you would hang out with them for a few weeks!" My ears were about to burst when I heard this. The girls showed us the video of One Direction and saying all the rules. After they showong us the video they ran off screaming like crazy people. 

Riley looked at me with an evil grin on her face and said " You have to make a video you could so win!" I looked at her like she was crazy! I thought in my head so many girls are going to sign up that are much better than me. Plus this is pretty much the whole globe who I would be competing against me!

 "Ya right" I rolled my eyes

 "Why not it is worth a try?" she gave me the puppy face. It's so hard to not give in. If you don't she will do it for hours.

I blurted out "Fine I'll do it!" Shit...I didn't want to do that!

Riley jumping up and down. "Yay! I have to be the person who video tapes you though!"

"Sure, but you are the only one there." I said sternly

We finally are heading to our first class...English. I hate English it makes my life hell I guess you could put it. There is this girl named Penny. Lets just say she is the reason why my life is hell at school.

When we got to the classroom there was a huge commotion about the contest. Of cousr Penny has already knows. Since she is considered 'Popular'. She's walking up me. My heart drops.

"So Dixie, have you heard about the One Direction contest?" She smirked

"Y-yes" I stuttered

She started to laugh "You do know that your voice sounds like a dying dog. Also they would never pick a b*tch like you."

I stood there like a fool. I felt the tears coming. I just want to dig a hole right now and never come out! I looked my feet. I was wearing green converse. You might think they are boring; but if you are in a situation like me, they would be the most intersting thing in the world.

 Penny started to laugh again and walked away.

Riley walked up to me "What did Penny say?" She seemed to be concerned.

"Oh she was just wondering if I knew about the contest," I said with a mixed of sad and anger.

"Did she criticize you Dixie?" Riley asked with anger voice. 

I started at my shoes and nodded yes.

"Don't listen to her she stinks at singing" Riley said angerly. 

Then the bell rang time for English...Ugh!

Harry's POV

The lads and I posted the video. I really hope the winner is a girl! I looked at the computer to see if anyone has posted a video to watch. I yelled the boys to come over. They all came over and asked what was going on. I said "Look we have people to watch lets get started!" We all separated into different sections of different videos. You could no believe how bad people were,but some were very good. But after at least a hour past so I took a break. I went to the couch. Then I fell asleep.

Riley's POV

After English Dixie and I go to our lockers. Dixie seemed upset when she looked at her locker. I walked over and asked he what was wrong? she showed me a paper it said this:

You should know Penny is spreading bad rumors about you. I know you will be upset, but I needed to tell you just in case something goes wrong.

When I saw this I was very angry. I was angry at Penny for spreading rumors that weren't true about my best friend, But I was even more angry at Ben. Ben has been our closest friend sines grade school as well. I told Dixie I had to go to Social Studies. Well I lied I need to talk to Ben right now! I see him going to his locker. I walked up to him and yelled "Why did you do that to Dixie!?" He was startled he looked at with this scared look on his face. 

"W-What did I do to Dixie? Is she ok?" Ben stumbled

"You slipped that note in her locker. You left her in tears." I said giving an evil eye to him

"Oh, where is she? I need to talk to her." Ben gave me a look that I never saw I his eyes

"I do not know where she is she is probably in the bathroom. I am so disappointed in you! You have been our closes friend, who has been through tears and laughter through the years. Please try to talk to her she is very upset!" I told him.

Then he ran off to look for her. I was so confused. What did Ben want to tell her? I have never see that look in his eyes.

Harry POV

The lads woke me up I looked at the time it was 6:00! We have a concert in two hours! I ran to the limo and got dressed.
