Ashlie's POV

After Niall gave me his jacket, we just walked silently for a bit. "So I feel bad cause I didn't catch your name only your nickname." Niall admitted.

"It's cool. I'm Ashlie. Spelled with an IE and not an EY."

"Oh fancy!"

"Indeed it is," I laughed. "I'm uniquely different." I said proudly.

Niall laughed. "I like it! So why are you both walking so late?"

I shrugged. "Kenzie never told me. She just said she needed to step out for a while. When she didn't tell me why I told her to wait because I don't want her going alone. Genius here, thought this weather was similar to weather back home and thought it would be warmer so I didn't dress appropriately. We've been out since one."

Niall looked at me in surprise. "Do you know why she's upset?"

I looked back to see Kenzie and Harry talking. "She wouldn't say. She might be telling Harry." I said kinda hurt.

Niall noticed and began changing the topic. "She will tell you in time. Sometimes it's good to talk to someone you don't know. Weather back home now? Where is home?"

I smiled and hopped onto a rock before hopping off. "Kenzie and I are from Colorado!" I said throwing my hands up.

"No way! What are you guys doing all the way out here?"

"Well, Kenzie needed to get away from a very complicated relationship. Me, I needed to just leave."

"What do you mean?"

I shrugged and looked forward. "I don’t know, I love it there and everything. I really do! I just always had this feeling to get away. Road trips across the states are nice but London was calling my name for years."

I looked at Niall who watched me closely. "I kept telling Kenzie I wanted to get away, even if it was for a little while. She told me she really wanted to leave as well and told me let's move here. We saved up for ages before buying a flat here and telling our families we are starting a new path for life. It was hard for them but they understood. We will visit but we have barely even been here a full year. I love it here and the weather is tolerable coming from a bipolar state." I joked.

Niall smiled. "That's awesome. So what about school or what not?"

I sighed not really wanting to discuss it. "It's complicated yes, for us both, but that's a work in progress. I am just hoping I can start school here soon.”

“Why wouldn’t you?” Niall asked.

“I'd rather not talk about it actually."

For me, I struggled with maintaining grades to keep me in school. It was a lot of stress and I just want to be able to graduate soon. Waiting for my grades and GPA to transfer over was really starting to make me worry. I didn't want Niall asking about it anymore so I changed the topic.

"I wonder what they are talking about." I stopped and we turned to see Harry holding her.

"She's crying." I said heartbroken. I was honestly feeling a bit hurt still that she didn't talk to me but I didn’t care seeing her this way.

"Harry looks like he's comforting her." Niall said quietly. Kenzie looked over a few times and I just nodded.

"I just want her to be alright."

Kenzie and Harry walked over and I gave her a tight hug. She didn't say anything so we just continued walking.

"What do you do at 3 in the morning in London anyway? "Kenzie asked.
