I didn't know what to do. I was only standing alone against the walls, nibbling on my lip, and just left out to watch.

The ear-splitting music coming from the bass speakers was blasting my ear drums in a pulsating way as the party is going smoothly with everyone around having fun, dancing like the night was never going to end. Smoke was starting to spread among the tall ceiling from the other kids who were smoking just around the corner, and I could even hardly smell the different kind of strong liquors everyone had on their cups because of it.

I looked at Martha from across the room, who just quietly stood next to Brent, his arm around her as they were watching a wrestling game where some people clumped, hyped up and shouting.

It just turns out that the two just had a little misunderstanding, because Martha had really never even found Adam. Which, they fought about it upstairs when Bree brought Martha to Brent about just an hour ago.

Royce and I were left alone, but he also left me to party wild - which is his first priority for tonight. I didn't care honestly, I would have joined but I didn't want to be under his influence, because I wasn't really used to going to parties like this.

I didn't like the idea that I was left alone by my friends, so I blame myself for choosing to be alone.

Now, I just sound like a completely dramatic teenager who acts like an outcast by being simply mean to herself. This is so fun, it's mentally decaying me.

I would've honestly felt better if only Martha had really found Adam, or even just anyone did. I never knew I'd ever think of this, but I would've been enjoying giving out flyers than staying at this loud wrecking party.

Out of tedium, I sighed and almost choked at the smoke. I was patting my chest to survive the clean air left in me as I dreadfully walked to the kitchen to entertain myself with some food to eat.

"Jamie, you're here!"

I got confused to see Bree, cleaning up the grand dining table they have in the kitchen while holding a trash bag in her left hand. Both of my eyebrows shot up, and I blinked if I was seeing this correctly or am I drugged.

This is the reason why you had gone MIA?

"Um, you're cleaning on your birthday?" I looked around at the approximately ten people in the kitchen. When I saw a couple kissing, I immediately looked away and marched myself to my friend.

"To stay out of trouble, you know? Our parents knew we're throwing a party but they didn't know it was going to be this wild." Bree chuckled.

"Oh."

I furtively glanced at the couple again. Yeah, talking about wild, this was it.

"We got our fish!"

I let out a squeak, gasping when someone put a handcuff around my wrist. I quickly turned my head to whoever the devil summoned to scare me.

"Royce, you jerk!" I spat.

He only laughed loudly as I stole the key to free myself. I threw an elbow, slightly hitting his stomach at his ridiculous appearance.

"Where did you even get this?" I grimaced, I didn't know Willy Wonka liked to put cuffs on children.

Royce grinned a big jerkish grin. "Tyrone Quinton attended as a stripper, so I thought it would be nice to borrow this shiny baby to finally do something interesting tonight."

"Well, you picked the wrong fish."

"You're a shrimp, Jamie."

"Royce Nunez!" someone shouted furiously.
