A migraine awoke you this time, and you didn't think it was Ren anymore.  Fuck this is how my day is going to start? As I got out of bed and fumbled for my clothes in the dark, I decided I should probably shower or I'm never going to be able to run a brush through my hair. I stepped into the warmish water to try and help stop the enormous pressure and pain in my head and tried to focus on how to fix the situation with Evie.

I could hear a buzzing from the other room and I sighed, duty calls. I stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel to dry myself before walking into the other room. The black pager was the one going off, Kylo's pager. I shrugged and against my better judgement, decided to ignore it. I have other patients I need to care for right now.

As I walked into the infirmary area I was tying a ponytail into my long hair to be able to get some heat away from me. I could see Evie attending to a broken arm, and Rosa reading over some charts. I decided to go help Rosa. Rosa was an older woman, maybe in her 50s, yet she still was helping on this death station. She told me earlier that she had been working as a nurse for 20 years, but only began working here only 7 years ago. I wonder where she came from before she was taken to work here.

I grabbed a few stacks from her and began overlooking the night shifts work to make sure they did everything properly. I felt a cold presence nearing the area which paused me from my work. I looked up and saw the tall dark figure enter the main doors. Oh god he's come for me.

I saw his helmet search the room until I felt those burning eyes fixed on me. I stared back in disbelief, I didn't think he'd actually come here again. I could feel the energy of the whole room shift to fear. He said nothing but I knew he could sense my unease.

You should have listened. His voice echoed again inside my head. Oh no.

Without moving his head he reached his arm out towards Evie, and I saw her get lifted from the ground, her hands clutching her neck. She was choking and gasping for air. He can't do this, she had nothing to do with it.

"Let her go!" I wasn't even aware of my actions until they were made. I found my legs had carried me towards him and away from the desk. I faced him, challenging his position.

"You don't get to tell me what to do." He snarled through his helmet. Evie's face started to turn blue and I could tell she was losing consciousness, a few more seconds and she could be dead.

"She had nothing to do with this, now PUT HER DOWN, RIGHT NOW." I said through gritted teeth. I could feel pressure in my head but I chose to ignore it, this was no time to stand down, my friend was in trouble. "This was my fault, punish me. Let me take her place."

He looked towards her, then back at me before releasing his grip on her. She flopped to the floor and nurses fled to her side. I started towards her when the pressure surrounded me and dragged me to him. He turned to two guards that had followed him, and he motioned for them to grab me. "You want to take her place, then you shall." He snapped. "Now take her to the cell, I'll deal with her later."

"You can't do this, I have to help her." I tried to yell as the guards grabbed my arms and drug me towards the elevator. "I am a doctor!" I screamed. "You have to-" the pressure surrounded my throat and my voice was cut off. I knew if I tried to fight, he would hurt her again. I gave up my fight and allowed myself to be drug away.

It has been a couple of hours since the incident of this morning. I sat in the small room on a ledge swearing under my breath. I had paced a lot too, my legs were pretty tired. I was about to just lay down and get some rest when the cell door opened. A storm trooper walked in holding his blaster and I half expected to be blasted right then and there. He didn't raise his weapon towards me though.

"Let me guess, you're here to execute me by Kylo's orders. If he wanted it done he should have come here and done it himself, if only he had the balls." I stood up. "Let's get it over with then."

"The general demands to see you in his office. I am to escort you there." He said, walking down the steps towards me.

"General Hux?" I asked, why would he want to see me. "Do you happen to know why?"

"Let's get moving." he poked my shoulder with his blaster and pushed me forward. I walked out of the cell and followed his directions. People stared at me quite a bit, as I walked. Can't they mind their own business?

We entered a section that I hadn't visited before, above the weapons area. His office was set up in the same way that the director's was, overlooking most of the sector. "He's in there." the storm trooper barked.

I took a step forward and the hatch doors opened. General Hux was overlooking the scene below analyzing each station with weapons. "General, you asked to see me, sir."

"Yes I did. I heard of what happened in the infirmary today." He turned towards me. "And I'm impressed."

"What?" I shook my head.

"But even though I am impressed with your stubborn nature, it cannot be accepted in this station." he took a step towards his desk and took a seat.

"Sir I can explain, Kylo-"

"It is commander Ren to you." He interrupted. "And I'm not going to hear any excuses. You must understand that he is your superior, and you are to respect your superiors. Now, I can't have the commander throwing any more tantrums of destruction in the infirmary. You need to play nice and be friendly towards the commander from now on, no more acts of defiance, or I will have him deal with you in a much less friendly way. Do you understand?" He never broke eye contact.

"Yes, sir, I understand."

"Good, then you are dismissed. Guard, take her back to the hospital so she can do her job." He waved his hand and I gave a little bow before exiting.

I followed the guard down to the infirmary, but I couldn't get my mind off of my anger towards Ren. Once we got to the correct hallway, I nodded to him before he walked away. I then made sure he was gone before walking into the hospital. I don't need a babysitter.  I rushed to Evie's bedside to see she was asleep.

"She needs some more rest before we release her. We did put her on 15L of oxygen through a respirator mask, and some sedatives for her brain to heal and understand what happened. I'm sure she's going to be traumatized, I know I would." Rosa spoke up from next to me, I didn't even feel her come by me.

"God this is all my fault." I huffed. Why does he have to be such a prick?

"Well there's no point in worrying too much right now, she will be fine. I put in to watch over her tonight. And if I'm being honest, I think you should go get some rest too. I'm surprised to see you still alive after what happened." Rosa tilted her head.

"Well you aren't the only one who is surprised." I shook my head.

"Go, I have her covered." She put her hand on my shoulder. I nodded, holding back tears. I turned and walked out of the hospital and to the elevator.
