Emilee woke up, and looked around. She smiled at seeing Sara, still passed out next to her. She looked around the train cart they were in. She couldn't believe it worked. It was like living in a movie. She recalled last night. Her and Sara had ran as fast as they could, and hopped onto the train cart. She smiled brightly, then shook Sara. "Wake up! C'mon wake up! We're going to Canada first!" Emilee said. Sara slowly sat up. "Huh..?" Sara looked over at Emilee, then looked around the train cart. She smiled. "It wasn't a dream..?" Sara asked, looking over at Emilee. Emilee shook her head. "Nope! It's all real, Sara." Emilee said, standing up and going to the side of the train cart to watch the land go by quickly. Sara rubbed her eyes, got up, and went over to go and stand next to her. They both smiled, then turned to eachother. "It's just like I imagined." Sara said happily. Emilee nodded in agreement. "Yeah.." Emilee said softly, before both of them turn back to look outside. "It's beautiful." Emilee says. "Pft, woah woah there, you're not the outside Emilee?" Sara says, smirking playfully. "Oh hush! I'm not beautiful, I'm just.. pretty." Emilee says, knowing that there was no saying that she was ugly around Sara unless she wanted a whole essay on the facts and features about her "beauty". They then both sat down, and stared. Just stared at the ceiling of the train car, which had a huge hole (from rotting wood) in it so that you could see the sky.
An hour later, Sara finally spoke. "Truth or dare?" Emilee, the blonde, made a quiet humming noise. "Hmm.. Truth." The shorter blonde says. "Would you ever date a girl?" Sara asks. Emilee adjusted her jacket Before speaking. "Yes. Totally. 100%." Which Sara smiled at. Emilee glanced over at Sara, then back at the pinkish purple sky, which was from the sunrise. "Truth or Dare, Sara?" Sara smiled and answered "Truth." happily. "Would you ever date a girl?" Emilee asks, neatly putting her hands on her stomach as she lays there. "Yes. Totally. 1000%" Sara answered giggling a bit.
The girls sat, asking questions about their preferences, until eventually, they had ended up next to eachother, laying there, giggling and laughing as the train had kept going. It.. was peaceful. Dispute the passengers in the carts ahead they could barely hear, and the girls' happy laughter, it was peaceful. The girls had used their own backpacks as pillows and their coats as blankets. Sara stopped laughing a moment, looked over at Emilee, smiled, and then kept laughing. They kept making jokes until they were laughing crying, almost not even able to breathe.
Eventually, the two girls had stopped laughing. The time passed as they talked and laughed, and cried. "God.. I'm so happy about this. I mean technically now that I'm 21 and your Finally 19 we can legally leave, right? We're both over 18 and from the USA." Emilee had questioned, which Sara had nodded too. "Yeah, I think so. If not, oh well, it's not like we haven't broken a few before. Remember when we got high off of those copic markers 'n sh!t? That was fun." Sara has said, smiling and laughing a bit twords the end. Emilee smiled, and then laid back down. Suddenly, the train had slowed down and Emilee and Sara took not even a second to get up and dart their @sses outta there. Emilee checked her phone, and sure enough, they were right at the beginning of Canada. "Spy time?" "Spy time." They quickly went and grabbed their bookbags, the ran outside of the train station and climbed up ontop of the brick walls, over and ontop of the roof, and jumped down. They hauled @$$ and eventually left. Suddenly it had started raining. The two girls were out of breath, and had panted. Emilee had checked for her phone, and it was there. The two girls checked for everything. The only thing missing was a few hair ties, Bobby pins, and about 3 bucks. Nothing too major. They then headed off, still in the rain. Eventually, they found a public restroom in a store and stayed in there and did their business and used the dryers to dry off their clothes. They looked at the mirror, and took a few pictures.
They giggled, and then fixed their hair with the brushes they had in their backpacks. They walked out of the bathrooms after washing their hands, bought an umbrella, paid, and then walked outside and opened it. They walked along the side walks as they looked for a hotel or room they could rent. They had both worked at their jobs for at least a year or nearly a year and saved up all their money sense they had lived with their own parents before running off. They definitely had enough money.
As they walked in the rain, they talked and chatted about how they were going to sneak onto a boat and get to France. They would definitely have to manage, that's for sure. Sara looked on her phone, and saw that there was a boat leaving for France, Paris in two days. They were squealing. Seems like they planned their runaway Vacation just at the right time. Once it stopped raining, they wandered around. They climbed trees, roller skated around sidewalks and parking lots, and did all they could until it was nighttime. They started to roller skate to the room they had reserved and went inside after changing back into their normal shoes. They went and sat on the beds in the room, turning on the TV and watching some random show they had found after channel surfing for 20 minutes.
