To make you and love you is all

I have given you birth

I remember laying there with you on me

Your tiny hands reaching my face

Kissing your tiny feet

I went from a size 4 to a 12

Gray hair at age 27 because of a mothers love

But never with regret do I say it

I show it with pride that my little girls have all their mothers love

No matter what it is you need or want I will provide

With your father by my side or not

For now, Not

I will always wipe your tears away and always explain to you why

Are the ways they are

Fall out of love and its ok to go on

Your laugh is all I want to hear

Never your tears but I am there for when you have fears

Fears of childhood nightmares

Fears of where is my family gone to fears of growing up

I am there when you need a brick wall to lead on to when broken little

Toys turn into broken hearts I am there

I may not have much education

I may not have to prefect body or face

My love is never ending

I may not have the time to spend with you as we would like but working

Two jobs and a night shift on the streets at the corner of 2nd and 8th

So I can have those new shoes you so badly need.

I see the need and the sacrifice it takes for a mothers love

I don't want to see your blue eyes ever cry or want

I don't ever regret the things I've done

For they were for you

Please never hate me for one day you will see a

Mother's love
