02: New Friends and Enemy

Inside the auditorium, Juno was sitting alone with other students from Reserve. "We will now begin the matriculation ceremony for National Magic University Affiliated First High School," said a man's voice. When Tatsuya looked at the bottom, he saw Mayumi, the Student Council. She bowed, then moved out of the way. "Next, the newly-enrolled students' address," the man said.

"Representative of the incoming class, Miyuki Shiba," he said. Miyuki bowed, then spoke. "As the sunlight streams gently," she began. "And the vivid cherry blossoms flutter on this gorgeous spring day, I feel so happy and honored that my wish to be admitted to the prestigious National Magic University Affiliated First High School has come true. On behalf of the incoming students, and filled with pride being a member of First High School...," she then continue to speak, her words flowing gracefully.

When she was done, more students spoke. When it was all over, people exited the auditorium, at a nice steady pace. Alas, people were still inside, heading to classes and such. Tatsuya stood there, with a card in his hand holding information. "Hey, Shiba!" Erika said, standing next to Mizuki. "Want to check out our homeroom?" Erika said, continuing the conversation. "Sorry. I'm supposed to meet up with my sister and my friend," he responded. "Sister?" Erika questioned. "Um... By any chance would your sister be Miyuki Shiba, the representative of the incoming class?" "That's right." he responded. Erika was surprised a tad bit. "Then are you twins?" the girl asked. "We get that a lot, but we're not twins," he answered. "My birthday's in April, and my sister's is in March." he said, matching his answer.

He looked at Erika. "Still, I'm surprised that you made the connection." he said, flattering them a little. Mizuki put her hands together and place them on her upper dress. "Yes, your demeanor, should I say... Your auras... those commanding gazes of yours are quite similar," she said. Tatsuya's eyes went wide. Just as I thought, this girl... He forced himself to relax. He made a smile. "If you can read someone's aura... You must have really great eyesight." he said, shocking her to where she stood straight from jumping back. Mizuki looked down, shadowing her hues. Hypersensitivity to Spirit Particle Emission... It would be dangerous to let her observe me any further... Observe my secret... Tatsuya thought, but soon his thoughts were interrupted.
"Brother?" a voice said to Tatsuya, and so he turned to see the owner. Miyuki. She was running to him "Brother," she said standing still now. "Thank you for waiting," Tatsuya turned to her fully. He smiled. "Hey, that was quick," he said. Mayumi and a man that spoke at the welcoming ceremony were approaching. They stopped walking. "Hello. So we meet again," Mayumi said. The man behind her half scoffed and grunted. Tatsuya simply bowed. "By the way, dear brother... Are you dating already?" Miyuki asked, knowing the answer. The girls behind him looked confused. "Of course not, Miyuki. These are two of my classmates," he looked behind his shoulder to the girls. He turned back around. "It's rude to say things like that, you know," he said making Miyuki stand straight up and gape. "I'm so sorry!" she apologized, while bowing. "It's so nice to meet you. I'm Miyuki Shiba," she introduced her self, still holding her pose. Mizuki stepped forward. "I'm Mizuki Shibata. Nice to meet you, too," she said but was soonly bumped into, along with Tatsuya. Erika had stepped forward. "I'm Erika Chiba. You can call me Erika. Can I call you Miyuki?" she asked while she finished fidgeting around her space. "Yes please do!" she responded. "Hey, Miyuki, so you're actually pretty down-to-earth, huh?" she asked. Tatsuya tuned them out.

Tatsuya turned to Mayumi. "Miyuki, are the people from the Student Council done with you?" Tatsuya asked his sister. She looked at him. "It's all right," Mayumi said, nodding once. "All we did today was introduce ourselves to her." the man next to protested. "President!" he shouted in a whisper manner. "Miyuki..." she ignored the man next to her. "Yes?" she asked.

"We'll go into more detail another day," she said, turning to Tatsuya. "You, too, Shiba." Tatsuya looked up, keeping his stoic expression. "Let's have a nice, long chat sometime," she added. She bowed to the earth, gravity patting her back. She turned, and soon did the other council next to her, but not without going on a small strike.

"President..." he trailed off. He looked back and growled but stopped when he realized someone was standing behind Tatsuya and the others so he turn around and walk off. Miyuki turned to her brother. "I'm sorry, brother" she said. "It's all my fault..." she trailed off. A hand reached and touched her cheek causing her to blush.

She looked up. "No need for you to apologize," he said. She blushed more. "Brother..." she trailed off blush growing. "Uh... you two" Erika interrupted. "Why don't we head out now?" She said, helping her friend's uncomfortable situation. Mizuki nodded rapidly, face flushed and burning.

"Looks like I found you two" Tatsuya, Miyuki and the girls turn around to see a young girl with light pink hair and red eyes. Erika looked at her in awe, amazed to see her beauty and Mizuki did the same thing. "Onee-San!" Miyuki felt more happy to see her and run to her as Tatsuya followed her. The blunette smiled happily with the blush when Juno patted her on the head. "Congratulations for being the representative of the class. I'm proud of you..." Juno said with the gentle smile, this seems to make Erika and Mizuki turns red when they saw her smile. It makes them feel calm and think that Juno is a caring person who was like a big sister to Miyuki, even tho they just met her. "Hello!" Erika walked towards her with the grin "I'm Erika Chiba! Nice to meet you!" Juno turn her head towards her and gave her a nod with the smile. "Nice to meet you too. I'm Juno Akabane" Mizuki walked forward and send her a smile "I'm Mizuki Shibata. I hope we can get along and be friends." Juno greeted her back and give her a nod as well.

"Now then, shall we go and head to our new class?"
