Jasmine POV

"So what did you want to talk about" I asked.

"Yeah its kind of important, can we sit down first" he asked.

"Yeah sure"

We both sat down on a bench and then came some awkward silence. We sat there quiet for about 20 minutes and it was killing me.

"Hey" we both said. I can't believe I was about to blush, no I am overthinking this or maybe not.

"You go first" he said. He is such a sweet guy.

"No you can go first, mine's not that important" I said. I actually had nothing to say so I had to allow him go first.

"Yeah okay umm so I wanted to ask you if you could..." Is he really going to ask me out, what if he does, what if we get a dog and cat and have 3 children and get a house with a nice car and....

" so will you?, umm Jasmine hello" as he waved his hand reluctantly over my face.

Oh shoot! I didn't even listen to what he said, what am I gonna tell him?! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!! STUPID!!! calm down and say something for God sake.

"Yeah sure Tyrone, could you-"

"Thanks man, I'll see in school" he stood and ran to catch up with his guy friends who waited for him and faded into the distance.

"Yeah thanks" as my eyes lowered in disappointed. The universe definitely has it's favourites.

Tyrone POV

"Who was the girl you were talking to" Trevon asked curiously.

"She is the girl doing the homework for me that what's you told me, didn't you?!"

"Yeah, yeah..."

I know he doesn't remember because he had that weird look on his face, which means he is confused. UGH I hate my friends.

"Dude if you don't know the person you sent to me just tell me, because it won't take this likely"I scolded

"Chill bro, I know what I'm doing, oh yeah and we have that girl's party to go to, You coming?"

"I don't think I should, I have something to do when I get home"

"What else could you possibly be doing, wanking?" as all the guys snickered behind him

"No!! I just have other things to be doing than getting wasted every night"

"Come on, bro, you could see that girl you like"

I'm actually gonna kill him right freaking now.

"What girl?" one of them asked

And Trevon just grins and says "If you don't come to the party with me, I'll tell them" and he walks away

We all went to some chick's party and that's where I and my friends drank the night away. This was such a bad idea..

Jasmine POV

What am I going to tell him. I should have listened to him instead of daydreaming in the first place

This is all Tania's fault, she got me so excited that I wasn't sane enough to listen, woe is me.

Is this how I'm going to live, alone living with a thousand cats in a rocking chair knitting ugly sweaters.

I walk with sorrow to my house in the pouring rain, with my head looking at the pavement, as I'm walking home I get a buzz on my phone.
