NARRATOR:4 one dark day. three dogs were, being trained, with a girl, this girl was, only five when her parents died.
Narrator walks slowly off stage
*CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK*
Elisabeth comes on stage with Jamie. daisy and sparky are in the right wings (bedroom hall)
ELISABETH: "come!"
Elisabeth pulls the string and Jamie comes
Elisabeth "good boy Jamie!"
Angie walks in from the left wings (Kitchen) Elisabeth turns around startled.
Elisabeth: Oh, Angie, it is just you
Angie smiles
ANGIE: yup just plain old me. You were expecting the queen of England right?
ELISABETH: I didn't mean it that way
Elisabeth says with a smile
Angie: I know, oh! Almost forgot why I was here!
Elisabeth: hahaha! Like you can, me putting you to work everyday! Daisy and sparky are over there.
She points to the right wings
Angie is looking like he knows he has to do that first but needs to tell her something important
Angie: um.... Ok, I guess.....
She walks down to the right wings
Elisabeth: Thanks, Angie! (to Jamie) you need some water huh old guy? Yes, you do! Yes, you do!
Elisabeth walks to the right-wing with Jamie following behind
