The next morning I awoke feeling sick, but I knew that no matter what I had to go to the palace ,so after a full filling breakfast of toast and eggs I had a shower and got dressed in the official pink dress. It wasn't even a dress, but a skimpy almost transparent material that covered my breast and stopped at my thighs and left me feeling totally exposed and so I decided to pull on my coat which covered up most of my body and stopped above my knees.

( Picture of the dress that Diane has to wear ) I then had to wait on the Lemo that was coming to take me to the palace though I kept wondering what why out of all the girls in my town I had to be the one that was choosen to represent it . An hour later the Lemo arrived to pick me up and as I climbed in people who had gathered to see who had been choosen to represent the town stood and stared at me and some wore faces of disappointment , happyness and others disapproval. It didn't take long to get to the palace and once there I was led up the steps and into the courtroom of the palace with 30 other girls each representing their own town or village. " Now you all should know the rule by now , but if you don't here it is . Each of you will be blindfolded and your coats if you are wearing any will be removed and the prince will choose the girl who will be trained to become his princess and future queen of this Kindom. Alright with that said please indicate if you have any questions " a servant announced , but no one had any questions so looking at the guards he said " go ahead and blindfold them".
A blindfold was tied over my eyes and my coat removed . I then heard footsteps as someone entered the room and began to walk among us one by one . When he got to me my heart sped up praying that I wasn't going to be choosen and I exhaled a breath of relief when the prince moved away from me. I then heard whispers and seconds later the prince lay his hand on my wrist and pulled me free from the group of girls and said " I choose this one ". " Very well then . The prince has made his choice . You may remove your blindfolds now . Thank you all for coming and you will be accompanied back to your respectful towns and villages by a guard ". I removed my blindfold feeling like I was ready to burst into tears for I was choosen and my entire life as I knew it was about to change.
