Hinata POV

Kageyama and I race outside after changing, me obviously winning.

"I won." I grin still a little out of breath.

"No way. I was ahead of you."

"Were not!"

"Were too!'

"Were no~"

"That's enough you too." We are interrupted by Daich, as the rest of the cabin make their way out here. I roll my eyes but stop arguing.

"Alright enough goofing off. Grab a towel and head down to the lake." Coach Nekomata says. We all quickly grab towels and begin to head down. We try to race again but Daichi and Suga stop us saying we probably want to conserve our energy.

We get down to the lake and place out towels on a small picnic table.

"Ok for your first bit of training we are going to have a race," Takeda states handing Kiyoko a bag. "Here is the race. You have to run to that dock." He points to a dock that is the halfway mark around the lake. "Then you have to swim from there to that dock in the center of the lake where you will get one of these." He takes a plastic ring out of the bag and holds it up. "Then you have to swim straight back here and give your partner the ring. Then your partner has to run to the dock and then swim to the center of the lake and grab another ring. The first people to swim back to this bench and hand me or one of the girls the 2 rings wins. Captains. You can pick the teams." I watch the captains split away from the group to discuss how to split up the teams. I'm super excited. I started jumping a little with Noya but am soon met with a glare from Kageyama. I quickly stop as Daichi approaches us.

"Alright. The easiest way to do teams is for your teammate to just be your roommate." Daichi says walking over to Suga. I sigh a little looking at Kageyama. He can be annoying but together we have a pretty good shot at winning.

"Ok everyone decide who is going first and then stretch," Takeda says. I start trying to convince Kageyama to let me go first when I notice Kiyoko dive into the water. She quickly swims out to the dock and then swims back after placing the rings down.

"Damn Kiyoko! That was quick." Noya and Tanaka say at the same time. Kiyoko blushes and thanks them.

Soon it's time to start. I'm starting to get really hyped for this which only pisses him off more. "Ok everyone who is starting line up. Remember I can see you the entire time so no cheating." Tadeka smirks at us and we line up.

"On your marks. Get set.... GO!" I start off as fast as I can. With a lot of convincing I was able to get Kageyama to let me go first.

I easily pull ahead of everyone but people like Noya, and Bokuto are not too far behind me. I'm trying to get ahead in the running part because I'm not the fastest swimmer. But I still think we can win. I pull more and more ahead and as I'm nearing the dock I consider trying to take off my shoes. But that would take time. Guess I'm swimming with them on. I race down the dock and dive into the water moving my arms and legs as fast as I possibly can. Once I'm in the water I tire very quickly. Soon Bokuto catches up. It's a race to the dock. His arms are a lot longer than me giving him the advantage but I refuse to give up.

The swim to the center of the lake is a lot longer than I thought. How did Kiyoko manage to swim out here so quickly? I barely have the energy to pull myself onto the dock. I collapse trying to catch my breath as more and more people catch me and climb on the doc. I hear some screaming at me, no doubt Kageyama telling me to move. I take one last deep breath before grabbing a ring and diving back into the water. Bokuto, Iwaizumi, and Tanaka are ahead of me and Kenma is very close behind me but he is losing steam fast. I'm swimming as fast as I can but can't catch them. Soon I'm passed by Noya.
