Applying for a Job (Chapter 1)

(Your POV)
You are a 18 year old girl with (e/c) eyes and (h/c) hair and you need a job to pay for your new apartment. You skim through the news paper to find any jobs.
So far you found only 1 job opening and it read:
HELP WANTED
Family Pizzeria looking for security guard to work the nightshift.
12 am to 6 am
Monitor, cameras, ensure safety of equipment and animatronic characters.
Not responsible for injury/dismemberment.
$120 a week

"Hmmm, 120 a week?" You thought about it for a minute.
"I don't think thats enough money..." Then you got an idea.
You had decided to work the nightshift and if they let you work the dayshift as a waitress.
You called the Pizzeria and applied for the job.
They set up a date for you to meet up with them to apply for the nightshift.

*Time skip to date set to apply for job*

You walked into the pizzeria and went into the office.
"Hello there, Im the Manager here! You must be (y/n)." The manager said.
"Yes I am, nice to meet you." You said as he shook your hand.

*Time skip to next day*

Yesterday you filled out papers to apply for the job and you got it!
You showed up at the pizzeria so that the manager could show you around
"Hello good to see you again (y/n)!" He said. He showed you around the pizzeria.
"Let me show you our animatronics!" You and the manager walked to the stage.
He points to one of the animatronics and says "This is Bonnie The Bunny."
The animatronic was a purple bunny with a guitar in his hands and he had a red bow tie and bunny ears.

Next he pointed to another animatronic and said "Thats Chica The Chicken" It was a yellow chicken and it had a bib wrapped around its neck with the words 'Lets Eat' ' on it. Finally he pointed to an animatronic in the middle of the stage. "And this is our star of the show, Freddy Fazbear." He was a brown bear with a microphone in his hand and on his head he had a black top hat and a black bow tie as well to match the hat.

"Well, thats all of them!" He grinned.
"Ok now can you show me the building so I don't get lost at night?" You said.
"Sure follow me." You walked past a purple curtain with stars on it with a sign on it that said Sorry! Out of Order! Curious, you stopped following the manager and asked, "What is this?" He looked at you, then at the curtain, then back at you.
"Oh heh, this is where one our old animatronics are, but sadly he is broken.."
"Whats his name and how did he break?" You asked curiously.
"His name is Foxy The Pirate Fox.. and he broke a long time ago at our old restraunt...I prefer not to talk about what happen." He tried to talk his way out of saying what happen. "Anyways follow me!" He showed you around the restraunt.

*Time skip to 12 am*

You were in the office looking at the cams when all of a sudden the phone started ringing, you picked it up. "Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night." You face palmed when you realized it was a voice mail. "Good thing no one was around to see that" You thought.
You continued listening to the message.

"Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?"

"Getting through my first week? Why would they need a recording to get me through my first week? All I am doing is checking cameras to make guard the animatronics from burglars, Right..?" You said to yourself.

"Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced."

"Missing? You mean I could possibly die doing this...?" You really needed to stop talking to yourself. (Me: XD) "Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know,"
"Ya don't say" you think.

"but there's really nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too. So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay."

"So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh...Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?"

"Do what now 0.0" You started to freak out. This wasn't just a job to watch for burglars, this job was to watch the killer animatronics. You had come here when you were a child and finding out that your favorite animatronic friends were actually killers isn't really comforting, plus the fact that now you have to watch them at night and they could possibly bite your head off, just like that kid.

"Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh."

"Well that helps, thanks! :D" (<-- Sarcasm)

"Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night."
