The hardest thing in a day that Nishinoya (Y/N) has ever faced is waking up her daughter. She always had some kind of trick in her sleeve just so that she wouldn't have to wake up. Especially if it was the first day of school. This morning was no different.

Walking into her room to wake her up, (Y/N) had to stop for a moment. She had no idea how her daughter did it but she did it anyway.

"Good morning mother. It seems I'm unable to go school as you look at my current situation." Nishinoya Himari, (Y/N)'s fifteen-year-old daughter had taped herself on the ceiling.

'How is that even possible?!' Is what was going in (Y/N)'s head.

"You're going to be late from school! How do you get down from there?"

"Honestly speaking, I have no idea." Himari says.

"How did you even get up there?"

"As you can see, I have no idea." (Y/N) has to call her husband before they took their daughter down. He stops at the door and bursts into laughter.

"Why did you do that?"

"Because I don't want to go to school." Himari says. (Y/N) and her husband Nishinoya Yū started taking their daughter down from the ceiling. Thankfully they lived ten minute drive from Himari's school, Karasuno and on top of that, had woken up earlier than normal. First day of school was always the hardest one but on Himari's case, she had never really been in a real school. She was home schooled until now as the family has been traveling around the world a lot. This would be her very first day ever to go real school and what her parents could see, was that she was very nervous.

Once the girl was down she was able to change and then come downstairs for breakfast.

"You know, that uniform is the reason I went to Karasuno." Himari glared at her father.

"Pervert." Yū stands up and slams his hands on the dining table. (Y/N) sighs and decides to ignore the two while making a bento box for her daughter to take with her.

"Am not!"

"Aha! Bet you had your eyes on mom only cause she looked god on her uniform!"

"Cute and hot! But no it's not the only reason!" (Y/N) sighs for the third time this morning.

Himari really resembled her father by personality. She also had the same golden brown eye-color as him. Only her hair was different. She got the color from her mother but really wanted to dye the yellow/blonde streak her father had, on her hair. She also shared the passion for volleyball, but unlike her father, she had a perfect scores on her tests and was fast learner.

"Alright you two, that's enough. Himari, here's your bento and honey, when you drive her to school, the car is not a race car." (Y/N) says stopping the two. She was currently working form home as her work was to bake and make new dishes. Simple as that. Yū however was doing a lot of different things. Honestly, even (Y/N) had no idea what he was currently working with. He had been working with his own TV show whenever going abroad and doing whatever.

"Do I have to go?" Himari asks as her father drags her to the front door.

"You're gonna love it! Karasuno is definitely the best high school ever!" There they go. (Y/N) stays there waving them.

"Remember to join a club!" She calls before the car doors shut. Himari shows a thumb up to her mother. If Himari was anything like her mother, she would soon have friends in school like she had. (Y/N) moved from Finland to Japan at the same age as Himari. She wanted to go school abroad rather than back in home, even if the truth was that she and her twin-brother were both born in Miyagi prefecture.

She only knew one person and that was her cousin Sawamura Daichi, who unfortunately has been suffering a lot during the year she spent in Japan. From waking him up with an air horn to borrowing his car without him knowing.

Best cousin award goes to (Y/N)

However she quickly got familiar with others in the volleyball team and with a help from them, she got to know more people, taking example her current team she's playing at: JNWVT.

Do I have to open that? No? Okay.

Most likely they were all also going through the hard time of first day of school with their own children. And when (Y/N) opened the group chat, she was certain of it. Laughing herself while reading the texts. Her friends children had funny ways to try and avoid from going to school. From turning the clocks to playing dead. She had to add her own daughters idea there before going back to kitchen. After baking six different cakes she'd make her way to the gym for today's practice. She stared at the kitchen and rolled up her sleeves.

"Let's get to it." It wasn't only her own bakery/cafe Sweet Surprise, but also her mother's Chisana Hoshi (小さな星) restaurant, she had to take care of. Her mother's interest on horseback-riding has came back and it has even escalated to the point where she had bought her own horse. (Y/N) had volunteered on taking care of it. Her mother used a lot of time on the stables and was unable to always answer her texts so when (Y/N) had a problem with Japanese foods and their receipts, she would text to the owner of Onigiri Miya. That man sure knows everything about food and how to make them.

The only big and annoying problem (Y/N) had ever faced with her profession was the top shelves. Being short is something that sadly has been passed down from her to her daughter. Getting a small ladder stool she was able to reach up where most of the cups and decorations were. Being short meant that everyone over 170 cm would make fun of her and ask how old she was.

(Y/N) sighs. Hopefully Himari wouldn't go through it but knowing people, she most likely would. Thankfully she knows how to say back to mean and salty peolpe.

First part of the next generation released! I might be a bit busy with JNWVT story as I'm rewriting that (I feel like the first way of writing it was shit). Also my driving school.... And the next chapter I'm stammering with.
