Maya exhaled as she hears little voices around her knowing who it is.
"Aunt Maya. Aunt Maya," Alexis said causing Maya to open her eyes.
"Hey, Sweetie. How did you sleep?" Maya asked.
"Okay. When can I go and see Mommy and Daddy?" Alexis asked and Maya exhaled.
"Is Uncle Josh awake yet?" Maya asked and Alexis shook her head.
Maya realized the room was still dark as she grabbed her phone seeing it was bately 5am.
She exhaled as she opened the cover allowing Alexis to climb in.
"Alexa, honey. Your mom got really hurt. She's going to be unconscious for awhile. But I can take you to see Daddy a little later. That okay?" Maya asked and Alexa nodded.
"Okay, Sweetheart. Now let's get quiet. It's still early and Uncle Josh didn't want to leave us alone so he is asleep in one of the rooms. Let's get my laptop then we can watch something," Maya said.
