"A group of children discover the body of women in an abandoned house late last night. Police have released a statement to the public that the body is that of local mother Natasha Daley who went missing at the end of March

Sargent Micheal Silver has confirmed that although the children discovered the women's body, they have no reason to believe they had anything to do with her death.

Little detail is being released at to the public at this time. However, we should all be more vigilant of our surroundings over the coming weeks.

"I read from the makeshift cue cards David is holding up behind the cameraman, doing my best to keep my shaking hands still and the fear out of my voice.

"And done "David calls out from behind the cue cards to signal the live broadcast has now ended and all three of us take a silent and shaky breath.

I pull my coat up higher to cover my ears as I turn to look at the scene behind me. We are about three houses away from the crime scene, that still has a handful of investigators milling around collecting and logging anything that could be used as evidence. A couple of braver Journalists stand uncomfortably close to the yellow police tape to make the same report we just did.

"I hate this part of the job "I exclaim solemnly moving quickly toward the van to get out of the icy wind. Reaching for my now Lukewarm coffee waiting for me inside, taking a deep sip desperately seeking warmth but not receiving any.

David and Derek agree with me, following suit packing up the equipment. None of us discusses the details of the case. Not because we don't care, but because it has become overwhelmingly clear to us that we have a repeat offender on our hands. It wouldn't be long before the police would be issuing a statement to the public, that we may have a potential serial killer on our hands.

Over the last month, four women have now met the same fate. Going missing in board daylight only for their beaten and mutilated bodies to be found in a somewhat public place by passersby.

I make a list of the women in my mind.

Christine Williams - 21, Vanished on the way to Church. Long Brunette short length hair. Found in an abandoned car two days later beside the highway.

Lillian Grace -28 Mother of two. Vanished sometime between finishing work and heading to the daycare to pick up her youngest child. She had Short Curly chestnut brown hair, found 24 hours later in a children's playground just a block from her home.

Sarah Mitchell - 17, The timeline of the day she went missing still not clear. Shoulder-length mousy brown hair. Body found in front of a doctors surgery in a terrible condition nearly a week later.

Natasha Daley- Mother of a newborn, went missing earlier in the week, found in an abandoned house, not far from her own. No other details are known at this point.

"Do you guy think its all one person?" I ask absent-mindedly not realizing that I had spoken out loud. I must not have been the only one with this heavy on my mind. Because without clarification, both Derek and David Nod in a silent agreement that they too see the pattern.

The next few days only cement everyone's fears. Another woman goes missing, and new details from the previous cases come to light. The community is rightfully gripped by fear, and are demanding the police do more.

"Melody, I would feel better if I took you home "David protests as I sling my bag over my shoulder getting ready to book an Uber home.

"Don't be ridiculous, I only live about ten minutes from here. I will be fine in an Uber " as I roll my eyes dramatically at David.
