Chapter 13

I end up getting ready to go to the amusement park with Jungkook just like he asked...

How did he turn me into this puppet..?

Hoseok then suddenly screams and runs to the door...

"Leera! It's Jungkook!!"

I smile widely at his excitement as I walk to the door.

"I know it is, but thank you anyways Hoseok.."

I give him a side hug before walking out to Jungkook's car...

I open the passenger's door and slide inside without a word.

Wow, this car is the fanciest thing I've ever been in..

After I get buckled, he simply takes off to the destination...

"Where are we going to again?"

That was the dumbest question I could've said. I just wanted to start a conversation...

"Amusement park."

"I haven't been to one of those in forever.."

"Me neither."

His words are so blunt and short that I give up on making a conversation with him...

Once we arrive at the park, he just gets out of the car silently, so I get out as well and stay by his side at the ticket booth.

He then pays for both of our tickets and we simply head into the park.

I grab a paper map to see where the rides are located, but the smell of something delicious distracts me...

"There's popcorn and ice cream over there!"

I point to show him where it's at.

He seems to not be unamused though, so I just forget about it and look back down at the map...

"Should we ride roller coasters or slow rides first? Water rides maybe? What do you think?"

I wait for his response, but I get none...

"Jungkook, you are really starting to get on my ner-.."

I look around to see him walking up to the popcorn booth.

So he actually did listen to me...

I walk over and by the time I'm there, he has a bag of popcorn...

"Here.."

He hands it to me without even looking, so I thank him and start eating...

"I want to ride that one."

He points at the craziest looking roller coaster...

"Don't you think that one's a bit scary?"
