Flipped upside down

Chapter 5

We were pulling up to a massive house. It had a long driveway. A huge porch. And a lot of land.

"Woah, this house is massive" I said while still looking around. "I'm glad you like it." She said and parked on the pavement.

We walked inside. The living room was huge, the tv was about the size of my wall in my old house. A long white couch and a white shaggy carpet, it was so clean.

She have me rules about the kitchen and then we walked in the kitchen. There was a large island and a lady cooking. "Nichole, meet Amy. She's our nanny." Said Debbie "hi, I can help you with anything, just let me know." She said with a smile. "Thanks" I said smiling back.

We walked out of the kitchen and into a room. This room was huge. It had a walk in closet and a bathroom. The window had an amazing view of outside. You could see the buildings of LA.

There were white walls and mint green paintings on canvases on them. My bed comforter was mint green and white. It was a queen size bed. It was way bigger than the one at my moms.

I walked in the bathroom and it was huge. It had a waterfall shower and marble sinks. It was a beautiful bathroom. "If you ever wanna take a bath you can ask me because I'm he only one with a bath in my room." Aunt Debbie said while interrupting my thoughts. "Thanks" I said while looking around.

I walked over to the closet. There were so many clothes and shoes and bags. "I bought you these but if you don't like them I have receipts and we can take them back." She said. "Thanks again" I said smiling.

"An my favorite part is the window." She said and walked over to it. She opened it and crawled out. I looked at her confused. "Come on" she said and laughed.

I followed behind her. There was a flat area buy the side of my window that had bean bag chairs and lights. It was adorable. She told me "when it's dark and the city lights come on, you can come out here and relax. It's beautiful." She said while sitting in the chair.

"Aunt Debbie, thank you so much for letting me life wi-" she cut me off and said "your welcome, I'm sorry everything happened the way it is."

We sat and talked for about an hour before we got up and she showed me the rest of the house.

"So where are Ryan and Drew?" I asked. I haven't saw them in a while and I kinda wanna see them.

"There at school." She said and spoke again "you start school in a week."

"Okay"

About 2 mins later I went up to my room and looked at everything. I heard a knock on my door. "Come in" I said.

"Hey Nichole, I have to go to work, the boys should be here at 6. You and Amy will be the only ones eatting. She can help ya with anything you need. I love you. Have a goodnight. Here's $80 dollars if you wanna go out, use the spare car in the garage, listen to Amy though, I'll see ya tomorrow about 5. Bye" and with that she walked out after handing me the money.

I was holding the money. I've never held this much money to be honest.

I put the money On my bed and got in the shower. I felt dirty after the plane ride.

I washed off my body and cleaned my hair. I turned off the water and dried off. I looked at the clock on the wall and it was 3:10 I guess I could do and explore LA. I went to my closet and got out a pair of leggings and a black tank top with a red and white flannel. I put on some new white convers.

I looked into the full body mirror. I looked really good. I walked in the bathroom and looked under the sink. There were hair dryers, wands, and strighters. I blow dried my hair and it striated it. I looked at the clock again and it was about 3:30, I grabbed a bag and the money and walked out the door of my room.

"Hey Amy, I'm gonna go out. Is that okay?" I said. Amy tired around and said "yeah, do you have money to eat out because I have to go to a meet up tonight."

"Yeah, I'll be home at like 5, is that okay?" I asked. She said "yes" and I walked out the door. I went to the garage and got in the car.
