Chapter twenty five

Lexi's POV

We were driving for about 45 minutes and we still weren't there. We were riding the car in silence listening to bachata, but it was a comfortable silence. But it was also killing me to know where we were going. Everytime I asked him where we're going, he always said "it's a surprise."

We just drove by a sign that said "welcome to Alogany". Where was this nigga taking me??

"Where are we going? Are you gonna kill me?"

"No Babe." He laughed.

"Are we almost there?" I whined.

"Yes. We're here." I looked away from him and seen that are pulling into a beach.not just any beach. But sunset beach. The best beach in New York. I love this beach. Omg. He's taking me on a date on the beach. That's my dream date.

"The beach?" I looked at him smiling like as if five year old just been told they can have cake for breakfast.

"Yup. Come on." He said and we got out the car. We walked towards the beach to where he had a whole little area set up with a blanket, a picnic basket, candles, pillows, food and drinks. Oh my Gosh. This was beautiful. I can't believe he just did this for me. (Picture to the side)

"You like it?" He asked interrupting my thoughts. I looked up at him in awe.

"Like it? I love it Jonathan. It's beautiful!" I said hugging him tightly then giving him a light kiss on his lips.

"Come on." He gestured me towards the area he set up and we sat down. I just looked at everything in awe. It was truly beautiful. "Hungry?" He asked.

"A little." He smiled and opened the picnic basket taking out chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered kiwis. My favorite. Then he took the two wine glasses and took out Pepsi from the basket. He poured us some soda and handed me a glass. "Thank you." I smiled and took a sip. I shivered as a gust of wind went by. Jonathan must have noticed Because he took out a blanket that was next to one of the pillows and wrapped it around us. It was about maybe five thirty. I guess because the sunset was setting. It was really beautiful. I looked around at what he set up and just was amazed. This is my Dream Date. To go on a date on the beach and eat fruits and drink soda and watch the sunset and for nobody to be on the beach. This is exactly what I pictured. I looked up at Jonathan to see he was already looking Down at me. "This is really beautiful Jonathan. How did you know?" I asked.

"I asked a certain someone for help." He said giving me his signature smirk. I couldn't help but give him a cheesy smile. He smiled and reached over to where there was a small radio with a phone connected to it. He started playing my favorite song. La Pregunta by J Alvarez. I looked at him and started laughing. "What!?" He asked chucking.

"Nothing. This is just..the best date ever." I smiled and gave him a kiss.

For the rest of the date, we laughed, ate, talked about everything, danced and ran around the beach. When it hit eight o'clock, we started packing everything up and was now in the car.

"Jonathan."

"Mhm?" He said focusing on the road.

"Thank you."

"Para que?"

"This whole date. It was the best date I have ever had. Really. I had so much fun." I said smiling. He looked over at me and gave me a toothy smile.

"Baby. Don't thank me. You have no idea how long I've wanted to do this." He said giving me his famous smirk. Instead of saying anything, I gave him a peck on the cheek. He smiled and continued driving.
