Red...Red....Still Red......Green!
Finally the light changed colors.
I pulled up to Lily's school and got out of my car.
As I was walking up to the front where all the kids would wait for there parents, I could see Lily running towards me.
"ELLIE!!!" Lily cried out as she snuggled into my sweater.
"What?! What happened Lil?" I replied trying my best to comfort her and clam her down.
"Drew took my crayons!!!" She sobbed.
"Aw it's ok Lil, lets go ask him to give them back, ok?" I calmly replied.
"...ok." she sighed in defeat.
We made our way over to a dark haired, blue eyed boy with a mad look plastered upon his face.
This must be Drew.
"Drew....GIVE ME BACK MY CRAYON'S!!" Lily protested.
"Lily!" I scolded her. "Try being nicer."
"Drew, I'm Lily's older sister. Did you happen to take Lily's Crayon's?"
"No." He mocked.
"YES YOU DID!" Lily quickly retaliated.
Before Drew could argue back, a blonde haired boy was approaching us. And as he got closer I realized it was...Luke!
"Hey Drew, are you causing more trouble again?" Luke asked.

"Hey? Ellie to earth...?"
I was snapped out of my thoughts by him.
"Your little brother Drew stole my little sister Lily's.." I said pointing to Lily who was standing beside me. "...crayons."
Luke laughed and then nudged Drew, and Drew pulled the crayons out of a dark blue backpack.
He finally gave up and handed it over after a minute of self debating.
Lily's faced lit up as she took the brightly colored Crayola box from Drew.
"Alright now that you have your crayons back, what do you say?" I asked.
"Um....thanks...I guess." She unsurely replied looking up at Drew.
Drew just shrugged as he walked over to Luke and said "Let's go now."
The resemblance in them is noticeable, I thought smiling to myself.
"Bye. See you tomorrow Ellie.." He said with a smirk as he walked the opposite way with his little brother.
"Was that your boyfriend?" Lily said exaggerating the 'boy' in 'boyfriend'.
"No. Is Drew yours?" I sarcastically replied.
"NO!!! EWW!!! THAT'S GROSS ELLIE....BOYS HAVE.." I zoned out already knowing where she was going with this.
We got in the car, and I was more than ready to go home and take a looong nap.
Well this was a lot more drama than I'd hoped for today.
I sighed to myself as Lily and I drove home from our first day back to school.
The ride back home was pretty quiet.
"Ellieee.....there's a crayon missing.."
I spoke to soon.
