Once upon a time, in a land far, far away...

A beautiful princess was held captive in the tallest tower of an ancient castle that was not so easily reached by any mere pauper.

Only the bravest and most handsome prince was destined to defeat the many foes that stood as obstacles between him and his True Love.

The princess longed for the day that Prince Charming would come to rescue her from the parapets in which she was contained.

Far to the East, a handsome prince celebrated his 18th birthday; a day that commemorated his completion of training and graduation into a man. He knew that it was his role to set off on a long journey, to fight trolls and goblins, and to finally save a beautiful princess in order to take his place as King.

"Father, I believe it is my duty to set off on a long journey, to fight trolls and goblins, and to finally save a beautiful princess. Until then, I am unfit to take your place as King."

With the applause of his kingdom behind him, Prince Charming mounted his trusty steed and set off to seal his destiny.

"Onward, my proud stallion, onward!"

But little did the prince know that a villain, an evil warlock, plotted to ruin the prince's happy ending.

"I will make sure that princely bimbo fails, if it's the last thing I do! He will have no happy ending!" Unleashing an evil laugh amidst the screeching of crows and the flashing of lightning, the warlock prepared to foil the fairy tale.

Many trials and tribulations challenged the prince as he struggled to reach the princess before time ran out. An evil queen with a lust for blood. Hags in bogs and swamps. A feisty devil that tricked the foolish. Enchanted forests filled with mist. A castle covered in poison ivy and brambles and thorns. And finally, the giant dragon that guarded the fair maiden.

The handsome prince, in all his glory, climbed the many flights of stairs to finally reach his damsel in distress.

But by Jove, when Prince Charming finally pulled back the satin lace curtain he wept with sorrow, as the princess was missing! In her place lay a piece of parchment that read:

If you want the princess, come to the West, where I lie in wait for you. ~Evil Warlock

Filled with anger, the dashing prince climbed atop the defeated dragon, and spurred it westward.

"Warlock, I swear on my life that I will not let you get away with this!" he shouted into the wind as he shook his fist.

Waiting for the prince, the warlock cackled, for his scheme was succeeding. No longer would he sit in the shadows, filled with agony and anguish. The princess begged and pleaded to spare her and the prince. She offered all the gold she had. She even offered her kingdom, but the villainous warlock would have none of it.

"I only want one thing- the life of the prince!"

At long last, the prince, seated upon the fierce dragon, advanced towards the warlock with his sword drawn.

"Release the princess at once!" exclaimed the prince bravely.

"Never! I shall never return the princess!" the warlock growled amidst the magical flames that now enveloped him.

Tensions were mounting.

The prince prepared for battle, "Why ever not?"

"Because I love you."

...

...

...And they lived happily ever after....
