I heard those two shots and life played in slow motion , confused I looked around and seen my bestfriend drop on the floor . "WAKE UP" , I shook him . "No.." I laid my head on his chest and closed my eyes.

"Maya , wake up you gotta be up for school" I woke up but my eyes were still closed and still stiff as if i was sleeping . "I know you hear me" My brother NJ said "I ain't feelin it today" , I said . "Tuh , yeah aight" I hear him walk away , I start to doze back to sleep then I feel mad water being poured on my face "I told yo ass to wake up" NJ said. I get up wet and mad asf "FUCK YOU NJ I WAS UP NIGGA" I said. "Yeah yeah , I'm giving you a 1 and 30 be fast" NJ said and had walked out my room. I sat on my bed for a good 10 , you know just thinking . ~Long story short , I'm the youngest out of 6 .. It's NJ and Elijah (the twins~ 22 ) Sy'mere (20) Marcus (19) Khelani (18) then there's me Namaya (17) .
After I got ready I went downstairs , of course as always my brothers' homeboys was all there. "I'm done" I said. NJ looked at me "aight go get my keys you driving" . I nodded then grabbed his keys and went to the car , got in , etc etc . I waited for NJ to come out but of course Sy and NJ's bestfriend Malik came out and got in. NJ finally got in. "Finally Nelson" I mumbled . He gave my the death stare and mushed me "Mannnnn shut up" He laughed.
My schools kinda far , I go to school on the hills because NJ too caught up in something that could effect me .. so he tells me. Sy looked around as I drove out our hood and into the GreenLand Projects to get to the highway . Word on the street is NJ and Sy got heavy beef with Trevon From GL Projects since years ago which caused their Projects and Ours to have tension and heavy smoke when caught. "Just keep driving" NJ told me as he started to sit up and look out the window. I was getting to the end of the street until I seen some random guy stand in front of the car causing me to stop. "Avoid eye contact.. actually don't look at nobody" NJ told me as him and Malik got out the car.
Well here the first half .. this is my first time writing at all so bare w me but this is a story i've been planning to write and i'm telling you it's golden 😋 anyway stay tuned it's def finna get interesting throughout
