Chapter 18

Hoseok POV

I look out the window since I heard a car pulling into the driveway and Jungkook's here!

But wait, someone's in his passenger seat...

Leera?

I go to the door and open it, but quickly shut it once I see them about to kiss inside his car!

I run back to the window to watch though...

..but Leera just pushes him away.

She gets out of the car the second after and runs to the door without looking back.

I quickly put myself together as I try to act like I saw nothing...

Once she gets in the house, she basically slams the door behind her, making me jump.

"Oh I'm sorry Hoseok.."

"It's alright!...so ummm..how did studying go with Jungkook?"

"It went fine, besides the fact that he didn't want to study at all."

"Ooh Leera you need to tell me everything."

I take her wrist so she can sit down with me on the couch for the juicy stuff...

"Nothing special happened though."

"If you didn't study, then what did you do?"

"It was just weird. His sister ended up being there, so I had to hide for a bit."

"Oh Sara was there? I love her. She's so nice!"

"Yeah, she was even willing to help Jungkook keep things private from his parents as she suspected a girl was with him."

"That was so nice of her! I bet that made things more pleasant for you guys."

She looks at me almost disgusted so I correct myself...

"Unless you didn't want things to be private!"

"You guys said that he's basically into every bad habit you guys have, right?"

"Well he's hasn't hooked up with girls in about a year it seems. Sure he drinks at parties, but he's not as extreme as some of the boys."

"And smoking?"

"Oh yeah, that's the thing he hasn't broken out of.."

"I just can't handle that. He's pretty much breathing in cancer and he knows it, but he keeps doing it!"

"Let's not bash him too much..I heard people that who smoke like the feeling of it so it's hard to stop.."

"I just...It's a huge turn off for me. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw it. He tried kissing me. I could smell the smoke still in his system or on his clothes. I don't know where the smell exactly came from, but I couldn't handle it."

"So that was the only reason you pushed away?"

"I..I don't know. I don't know what I would've done if that smell wasn't there.."

"Okay the question is, do you like him though?"

"I mean...He took me on somewhat of a date and the way he cared for me was so unique, but then he turned harsh in a second. I just never know what he's going to do."

"But do you like him?"

"Uhm..I just keep thinking about what Jeelu told me.."

"Oh no, what did she say to you..?"

"That he's after a girl only if he wants to hook up with her."

"Nono you know that's not the case. Jeelu has just been after Jungkook for a while now."

"I know, but I just still keep thinking about what she said for some reason."

"Well I say you should give him a chance."

"I did give him a chance at the amusement park but he completely blew it."

"I never actually heard the full story. Did you guys fight or something?"

"Yeah he just started being a jerk, so I left one of the rides we were about to go on. Then we fought a bit more and left."

"He's not very slow to anger."

"Ya think?"

"But I think this could still work out for you two. You just have to learn how to not push each other's buttons."

"Why do you want us to get together so badly anyway?"

"Because he's never had a real relationship before and I think you two would be cute! He's never even really had a crush before either, so I think he just doesn't know how to control those feelings right now."

"You really think he has a crush on me? No, he's just after me for something else."

"But he almost kissed you! That's a huge deal!"

"How is Jeon Jungkook almost kissing me a big deal?"

"Because he never just kisses girls randomly. I've never even seen him kiss a girl at a party. I'm sure he's kissed girls while he's doing you know what, but I honestly don't think he's ever kissed in public."

"Maybe you just see him at the wrong times then."

"No, I know this for a fact because I've talked about it with the boys before and they've noticed that too. He keeps his actual love life extremely private. For him to try to kiss you where people could see easily is huge!"

"How is his love life private if everyone at school know he's hooked up with tons of girls?"

"Because it's the girls that do the gossiping. If they didn't tell everyone what they did with Jungkook, then he would honestly not have the player reputation."

She sits there quietly for a moment before just getting up and walking to a different room.

I hope that made her have a different view of him...
