Coffee at the Lima Bean

I waited at a table. We never really discuss what time we were to meet so I waited there for a few minutes. Until I saw Blaine. He waved to me and I waved back. He walked over.

"Come on. Let's go get some coffee."

We walked over and I offered to pay, but he insisted and said this was my idea, you can pay next time. I agreed and we walked back to our table.
Blaine
What do I say? I don't know what to say. He starts off saying,

"Nice bowtie."

"Thanks" I replied back with a little smile at the end.

"I see you're a smiley guy"

"Yeah. Why shouldn't you smile and be happy if you don't know what will happen tomorrow."

"True" he responds back. And smiles. I smile a little and look down at my cup thinking for more table conversations.

"I didnt catch your name?!" i said.

"Oh. Its Kurt. Kurt Hummel." he replies back.

"Well it nice to meet you. Kurt." i say holding my hand out. He grabs it and shakes it.

"So.."

"So.." he says back.

"are you going to sing tomorrow cause you're new here and we, the Glee club doesnt really know you or how you sing."

"uh. Yeah I dont know what song to sing though" I respond back.

"Any song will do. As long as it expresses you, and a song that everyone will love." he says.

"okay. Well, i'll think about it." I say and I look down at my coffee cup and smile again.

What do i say!? He's so cute right now smiling at his cup. If only his pretty dark brown eyes will look at me.
Blaine

I look up again seeing Kurt staring right at me. We just sat there looking into eachother's eyes. Like a first kiss should happen. Like i should just lean over across the table and kiss him. But i cant. He's not gay. He cant love me. We just met. He probably has a boyfriend or something. What am i thinking. I stood up from my seat, finish the last sip of my coffee and threw it away. I came back to the table and asked Kurt if he wanted to go walking by the park near by. Its winter, and its kinda cold. But i still wanted to walk with him.

"sure!" he replied back.

"Okay lets go!" i said.

I went first. Open the door and gently gestured for him to go first then i followed.

"so what do you want to do after highschool?" I asked Kurt.

"Well," he started off. " my best friend Racheal and I are thinking of enrolling to NYADA. Its a performing art school, incase if you didnt know."

"Yeah. I heard of that place before. Seems kinda cool to live in New York."

"Oh so you have heard of it. I didnt even have to tell you where its located!" he says while smiling. I chuckle a little.

"I only know that cause i was looking for some Colleges the other day. You know like a performing art school! So in the top 10. NYADA popped up. So, yeah. " i said.

Its gets quiet for a little while.

I love him. I really do! He's just so. Just so cute, and happy. And positive. And smiley. He's just adorable.

"Well i gotta get home, its getting late" i say, while pointing my thumb up, behind me, over my shoulder.

"okay, I'll see you at Glee club." he says.

"Oh yeah! Thanks for inviting me on this get to know thing"

"No problem, it was a pleasure." he responds with a smile.

"bye!"

"bye!" i said and headed home
