Chapter 21

Leera POV

After last night, I don't even know where Jungkook and I stand.

We almost kissed again, but I got scared and backed off.

Then things got awkward later into the night and I swear I saw him try to wrap his arm around me...

I now start getting nervous as I arrive for another day at school.

I don't know if I'll meet angry, shy, or regular Jungkook today...

I still enter the doors though and head for my locker.

I simply arrange all of my books for the day and close my locker once I'm-..

"Aah!!"

I jump, seeing Jungkook was directly behind my locker door.

I slap his shoulder, making him let out a laugh before talking...

"Am I really so ugly that I scare you?"

"No. How was I supposed to know you'd be right there?"

"Was I too hot for your eyes then?"

Uuuuh I guess I'm meeting outgoing Jungkook today?

"You wish.."

I decide to leave the awkwardness behind and give him a little playful look before I start making my way down the hallway.

Then I hear his footsteps follow me until we're walking side by side to our first class we share together.

We don't really talk. We just get inside the classroom and sit in the back like usual.

As soon as I'm done getting my books onto my desk, the teacher already makes it to class today.

Today's a quiz, so we turn to the right page and begin once the teacher starts his timer.

I start writing down my answers one by one until...

"Psst!...psssst!"

I look over to Jungkook, kind of annoyed that he's interrupting.

He beckons me to come a little closer to him, but I do not want to fail this class, so I ignore him...

I hear him sigh before he scoots his desk closer and closer to mine until they're connected.

Okay, we have to talk about where we stand during lunch. What is going on?

I walk into the cafeteria to see all of the boys at their table as usual.

Jimin's the first one to see me, so he waves to get the attention I already have.

I just go over to their table because I don't usually get lunch anyway...
