Rose's P.O.V.
"Rose I'm going to have to give you a shot to numb your face." Justin said as he grabbed a needle. My eyes went wide but I just nodded.
After he was done cleaning me up he pulled me up and opened the door for me. I noticed we were in the hallway I had seen a light on but I didn't bother trying to look because I knew Justin was behind me. Once I got to the end of the hall I felt the medicine kick in and I felt like I was on a high. I got to the living room and Ricky was first to notice me.
"Rose!" He said as I came walking back. I smiled at him and walked over to him.
"Hi Richie." I said, giggling as I realized I messed up his name and because his hair was green.
"Rose are you... high?" He said with wide eyes.
"No I had to take this medicine to numb my face silly." I giggled.
"Rose! You're going home." Bryce said sternly. I nodded and stood up.
"Sorry Ricky. We'll talk tomorrow for sure." I said as I walked away. I walked into the locker room to get changed and felt like the medicine was wearing off. I still felt like I was high but not as much. I was more aware of everything. I opened my locker and grabbed my clothes out as I changed into them, careful not to hit the gauze on my nose.
I put my scrubs into my locker and locked it. I grabbed a water bottle from the table and took a large gulp, becoming even more aware of my surroundings. I walked out and looked around, making sure no one was around. Once I knew no one was around I ran as quietly as possible to Ward C.
Once I was there I got to the end of the hall and looked in through the little window. No one was in here but the light was on. I pushed it open and the sight made my breakfast and last night's dinner come up. It was three women skinned and body pieces on the silver table. I felt tears well up in my eyes. It terrified me.
I walked closer to the bodies and saw the utensils on the table next to the cut up body parts, they were bloody as if it was fresh. I felt confused as I walked away, not being able to handle the smell or the sight. I walked out and ran into Alyssa.
"Rose! What were you just doing in there?" She said with wide eyes.
"I- I was curious." I said, my breath shaky.
"You need to go home. Now!" She said and took me out of the hall and down a different direction.
"If you go out the normal way Bryce will see you and suspect something." She said, pushing me down a hall I didn't even know about. There was an elevator and she opened it and pushed me inside with her. Once we got to the bottom she pushed me out and there was a door at the end of the hallway.
"If you go out this way you'll be at the back of the building and have to get to the end of the building and turn left and go straight till you see the front of the building. Whatever you saw do not share with ANYONE." She said seriously. To say I was scared was a complete understatement. I gulped and pulled my jacket sleeve up as I walked down the hall. I got to the door and sure enough it was a back exit.
