"I still have that feeling from the very first time we met every time I see you."

A puff of a breath was exhaled through a child's mouth in the early morning sunrise. The cloudy, grey sky covered the sun but the sun's circular body of light was bright enough to be seen through the clouds. Little droplets of snow fell from the heavens as they coated the land, homes, and even on top of the child. Her light brown hair was sprinkled with snow as her heavy coat was also dotted with snowflakes.

Her hazel eyes look around the scenery before looking back to see the door she left from. None of her family members had awoken yet, though the servants were already up and bustling for the day ahead. She managed to sneak past them and stuffed her pillow under her blanket as a decoy while she left to play in the snow. It was the first snow of the winter season and she wanted to be outside despite the brutal, cold weather. The bare tree branches were already coated with snow from last night and the fact that it continued... to her it seemed endless.

Would it ever stop?

The child walked forwards slowly, feeling her toes getting cold inside her shoes. The satisfying sound of snow crunching under her feet brought a smile to her face until a cold wind blew, causing her to shiver with a frown. But she didn't retreat. She just kept going forwards into the forest near her home. The thought of getting lost didn't cross her mind, she was too busy relishing in the thought of finding a good spot to build a snowman.

Her name is Senju Angela, the youngest child of five siblings. Her mother; Senju Seiko birthed her on a winter afternoon in December, bringing a daughter to a family of sons. Senju Butsuma and Seiko cherished her but also hid her from public in fear of her getting hurt. Unfortunately she was born in a warring era between her family's long standing enemy... the Uchiha Clan. Like her brothers before her, they battled day and night over power. Angela stayed back with her mother and servants and received education at home to ensure becoming a dutiful housewife for an arranged marriage.

Her fate had been sealed the moment she was born, and Angela was aware of this but didn't let it stop her from having a childhood. Seiko even endorsed this— to enjoy it while she still could. Seiko was unable to as a child. Though there were limitations to what Angela could do. She couldn't behave ill mannered, be loud, always be courteous, or never run. So many things she was limited from. And Angela always sneaked out early in the mornings to satisfy her childish needs.

The walk in the forest slowly changed to a light jog. The jog didn't last more than a minute due to the cold and dry air making it difficult to do. Which kind of annoyed the girl but she shrugged it off. Her analytical hazel eyes looked around the snowy forest for a perfect spot to build the snowman. Or perhaps snowmen— if her hands didn't freeze up quickly. She slowed her walk to a complete stop when her eyes caught something shining in the snow. It was buried in the snow but still had half of it exposed to the outside world.
