Clarisse p.o.v.
I woke up feeling like I was flying , but then realized it was just my powers making me float out of bed. "Clarisse if you don't get up you'll be late for school !" , that was my adoptive mother Marissa . You see my mom died when I was 4 because of my secret ( which I'll tell you later), anyway once someone found out I was out into the system and stayed at an orphanage until I was 12, that was when Phil and Marissa adopted me .
Anyway enough about me time to get ready for hell- I mean school, after doing my morning routine I went downstairs and got breakfast. " Clarisse me and Phil would like to talk to you . " ,Marissa said to me , " What no good morning ? ", but to be honest I should have expected that I mean it's been like this since they adopted me , you see they never really liked me especially since they found out who my father was .
" Don't get an attitude young lady" , that was Phil he's a werewolf , and Marissa's a witch , and ever since they adopted me they act like I'm their real daughter or something, but I'm not and I really just want to say that to them but since I'm only 17 I can't since technically I'm only a minor , but I can tell that their just waiting for my birthday till I turn 18 so they can throw me out , and then I'm the world's problem .
"Yes sir, so what did you want to talk to me about ?" , " We are arranging you with Tyler Lockwood ", at that I spit out my food and taped at the both of them , " You're hooking me up with Tyler Lockwood ? ", " Oh Clarisse , don't think of it as hooking up but as guaranteeing a husband . " I just sat there staring at them then got up and said , " I'm ... gonna be late for school I ... Have to go then walked out the door but not fast enough not to hear Marissa say , "Don't forget we're going to the Lockwood party tonight ." , dammit.
