"Please come Y/N" Hermione begged "Everyone in Gryffindor will be there".
"Okay, fine" you replied. Hermione was begging you to go to a party Fred, George and Lee Jordan were throwing. She was right about the whole house being invited everyone above 4th year had been invited. Hermione dragged me up to the dorm we shared with Adela to do our hair, makeup and get dressed. Adela was the resident fashionista, she loved clothes and had brought an extensive stash of muggle and wizard clothing.
Adela selected a simple navy a-line style dress that went just above your knees and had a stylish silver belt at the waist. You decided to wear it with navy flats and a mid-calf length grey wool cloak. Hermione did your hair and pulled it into a loose bun. You didn't want much in the make-up department and stuck with a little blush, some mascara and lip-gloss.
Hermione was also looking stylish in a wine red skirt nearly knee length of Adela's and a soft white T-shirt that was her own. she paired it with black ankle boots and a light-weight black cloak. You did her hair and left it out but swept back from her face with clips. Hermione point blank refused to wear makeup Adela managed to get her to agree to a swipe of cherry lip-gloss.
Adela herself looked gorgeous. Her curly, chin length dark hair was pulled back from her face with some bobby-pins. She wore a black a-line dress similar to your's but a little shorter. She wore a black cloak and floral doc martens boots (a muggle shoe brand). She wore more make-up than you and Hermione, bright lip-gloss, foundation, mascara, blush and a little silver eye-shadow.
Hermione laughed "you refuse to go to the party all day and then have a complete ball getting ready." she shook her head in disbelief. Adela tugged you down the stairs "we're going to be late" she cried. You and hermione followed her out of the portrait hall and down the stairs, most of Gryffindor had already left the common room was crowded with first and second years.
