Secret (Part 2)

 I wake up in a new place. I don't think I've ever been here before. I sit up and look around; I recognised this place, it's the clinic! As soon as I look at the door the handle turns. It's a doctor, he comes in and sits on the chair and says," Hi, I'm Dr. Leonard McCoy"

"Hi, I'm Maisy, why am I here?"

"You were here, so we could check you brain to make sure you didn't have a concussion."

"Do I?"

"Thankfully no, so you and your Dad are free to leave as soon as we sign the release forms."

"Okay, how much longer should it take?"

"Only about 10 minutes and then you can run to school and do your presentation."

"YES!!!!"

We get all the papers signed and then head off to school just in time for the start of school.

"OMG! Maisy, your here!"

"Yup, and not even hurt."

"Good! That means we can do our presentation. Right? Mr. Reed."

"Yes, Emilia."

"Yes! When can we go?"

"In a few minutes, Emilia."

"Okay, Maisy let's go out to the car."

"Bye Dad! See you after school."

"Ok, bye honey."

"Love you"

"Love you to"

We walk out to the car I finally breathe the fresh air. Ahhh fresh air.

"Okay girls get in the car."

"Dad, can you just drop us at home. We'll walk to school."

"Okay honey, but watch out for nails." replies Emilia's dad.

"Okay Mr. Martinez." I say sarcastically.

We hop out of the car at Emilia's house and grab the project and start walking to the school building. It's only 6:45 so we have time to get to school.

We start on our way to school when we hear banging on the front gates.

"What's that," Emilia asks.

"Oh no, Emilia come on we gotta get out of here,"I say hurriedly.

"Why," Emilia asks confused.

I answered her in two words and she understood completely,"Alien raid." But we were to late, people were climbing the fence already. "Call your dad," I tell her as we crouch behind a pile of sandbags.
