The people who were going undercover and Penny all walked into the evacuated diner. We all hid on the sides of the shop until we heard the bell on the door ring, meaning that they were exiting the diner.
When it finally rung, we all ran out and ambushed them. Before they could do anything F.P. pulled his gun out and the people undercover did the same. They held them for a bit and questioned them until they had everything they could get. Our plan had worked.
F.P. took all of the Ghoulies to jail and once they finally have the opportunity leave, he's kicking them out past Greendale. We learned everything we could to make sure that they would never come back. I know that that sounds harsh, but I think that everyone can agree with me when I say that they devastate things. I think they're a serious threat and that's not an exaggeration. Jughead of all people probably could tell anyone that.
After everything was finally over (and I'm sure about it this time) we went to my place and hung out for a bit. Just the four of us, finally doing something normal. Tomorrow we have to get back to our senior year of high school, and I know I've got a lot to catch up on.
As we were sitting in the kitchen, we started asking Betty what had happened. "Did they just come up to you and grab you?" I asked Betty. "Yeah pretty much. I think that they actually might have been planning to get into the Chock'lit Shoppe, but we were outside. They knew who we were and also knew that I could have called Juggie at any moment to warn everyone," explained Betty. "I'm glad you did call me right after though," Jughead said as he wrapped his arms around her protectively. "Well it did seem suspicious; they walked up to us almost immediately after you had left so I knew something was off, and not because something had actually happened. Plus, there was only one guy and I figured if you needed me you would have sent a cavalry just in case. That's why they came up to us and gave us fake information," Betty said. "Definitely. I didn't even recognize them, and I could tell you didn't either so then I was confused as to what was going on. They really wanted us to leave," Ronnie agreed with her. At about eight o'clock Jughead and Betty left but Veronica decided to stay the night with me. I was glad that she did, I knew that she would be able to calm me down just in case. My wound near my heart hurt a lot so I didn't do much moving around until we went to bed at nine-thirty. As we were laying in bed, I thought about all of the recent events. "Did you see if they did anything to the speak-easy?" I asked Veronica. "No, I'm pretty sure they considered it a crime scene and I wasn't allowed to enter. It doesn't really matter; I'll see it eventually. Hopefully they didn't trash the place though because I really don't feel like leaning it up," Veronica said. "Me neither. Wait," I said sitting up on my forearm to look at her. "What about all of your casino stuff? What if they find all that, plus some other things?" I asked her worriedly. A concerned expression crossed over her face. She looked a bit worried, but the looked washed away in a matter of seconds. "I'll talk to Reggie and I'll see what we can do. Nothing bad should happen though, my stuff is pretty secure down there," Ronnie said reassuring me. "Yeah, you're right. Remember if you need help with anything you can ask me too. I need something to do because I really have not had a lot going on lately." I said as I leaned back down and sighed. "Except for everything that recently happened," she said softly. "Good night Archiekins, love you." "Love you," I replied before kissing her and closing my eyes. For a few minutes we laid there together; Ronnie running her fingers along my arm until we both drifted off into likely the calmest sleep we've both had in a while. I hugged her closer to me as sleep finally pulled me under and relished the idea that the next day would be as relaxing as I thought and hoped it would be.
