His mind immediately turned its focus to the words he said and he's suddenly blank. He felt a pang on his chest and a surging feeling of hatred. Hatred towards this man who's hugging him from the back. Why must he say such? Why must he take it back? He should've... he should've lied.
"Business... I see..." He mumbled and put his hands over Jeongguk's and pulled his hands off.
He cannot believe it. After all that? That's just for business? Was that even acceptable? He's feeling so upset that he left the room and the hotel room itself. He's too occupied with all those. The memories of the past three days and the past weeks and that very night...
The kisses...
We're all those just lies?
Taehyung is dumb. Very very very dumb at that state. He didn't even think of why would the other kiss him if he meant what he said? He got too drowned with annoyance and disappointment. But who could blame him? Being lied upon...
It was too much for Taehyung to bear with his soft spoiled heart.
"That man doesn't know irony..." Jeongguk sighed as he touched the ring on his ring finger with his thumb.
After an hour, Jeongguk was walking back and forth the room. He goes to the side and to the other side and would turn again to repeat the same thing but he's never getting tired. He's worried. That's very clear and he knew to himself why. It was because his husband had left the hotel and their flight is about to get canceled. It's a waste of time.
And it is Taehyung's fault!
Not actually. It was something more that that he wouldn't want to make himself admit. Just the mere fact that Taehyung had left the hotel room with no money nor phone and no hints of his whereabouts, is the o
ne thing that makes Jeongguk's heart race with worry and prideful guilt. Where the hell could he be? With his upset state, what would he have done? What if he made a fuss outside? Where the hell could he be!?
He soon grabbed his phone, swallowing his remaining pride and deciding against his will, calling for his secretary and ordering the man to reschedule a flight. He left the room even without finishing the call and after grabbing his coat and one for Taehyung. He did leave without any plans or any idea of what and how is he gonna look for his other part that has been missing for an hour or so now.
He got into the elevator and looked at his reflection that showed a rather mischievous aura oozing off of himself. He could see himself and no wonder why Taehyung had been upset. Sure he would. Yet deep inside himself tells him to be cautious. Dont raise his hope. Not a bit.
"Stupid..." He mumbled.
The moment the elevator door opened, he immediately walked out and unto the exit and entrace door, walking past anyone in the lobby only for his name to be called loudly.
"Mr. Jeon! Excuse me, Sir!" The staff called reaching for him before he could even leave the building and the other, frustrated and angry with the absence of Taehyung, turned with a frown and an irritated look.
"What!?" He hissed without much self-control and the man's face immediately got filled with anxiousness.
"S-sorry Sir... B-but... Mr. Kim has been resisting to go back to your roo--" the man was stuttering with much nervousness. Jeongguk was known for being composed and calm which made the man even more anxious now that he have seen a total opposite of what the other's vision of Jeongguk.
"Where's he?" Jeongguk cut his words, needing to know where the other is.
"O-over... Over here, Sir..." The man said and there, he saw his husband sleeping, coiled up on the couch in the lobby with the most alluring angel face and shivering body. It was a relief. Thank goodness it was. Thank goodness Taehyung was a bit more dumb to leave his phone and his wallet at the room. Thank goodness he didn't leave the building. Thank goodness he didn't leave Jeongguk.
"Sorry for the inconvenience. We were having a little argument..." Jeongguk said as he moved to go over the couch and crouched down to see the other's face in a closer distance.
"Mr. Kim had been sulking for a while until he fell asleep. We asked him to go back to your room and even offered him assistance but he kept saying that there was a bad man back there. The manager almost got frantic as he thought there was a robber," the staff said and laughed only to realize how he had said more than what he should've when the other man did not say a bit.
Jeongguk seemed busy. Busy? Maybe with having his eyes exploring the beautiful face infront of him. But it was obvious that the man right here was worried of the other.
He then moved and softly lifted the other, taking him into his arms like some princess in some bullshit fairytale. It was bullshit.
It is for Taehyung was awake by that time and he has been pretending to keep on sleeping. And yes, damn, yes bullshit for his heart was racing and pounding against his chest with how he had smelled the scent of this man.
That no matter how upset he is and how mad or angry he is, he cant help but lean against the smell that always made him remember home.
Jeongguk silently brought him back upstairs with the help of the loquacious staff who kept on humming on their way. Jeongguk was supposed to get annoyed but he's way too busy to even care. When they got back inside the room, Jeongguk had laid him back down on the bed and sat on the edge after he had tuck the other.
He let out a big sigh as he closed his eyes and held his knees, having his head down, looking tired and wasted.
"It's your fault," his silence was cut by the sound of the man from the bed. "Y-you're a mean man! Why'd you even kiss me if you don't like me..." Jeongguk had fallen silent. More silent than before. He cannot, all of the sudden, speak back to the man behind him. He knew he was awake.
Taehyung sat up, looking at Jeongguk's back and was silently waiting for a reply.
"Jeo--" He was cut when the other looked back at him and just stared. He wanted to say something to urge the other to speak but Jeongguk just stayed silent, looking at him in the eye and he felt like he was saying something through his beautiful iris. But Taehyung cannot understand and so, they didn't say anything.
No one spoke and they just looked at each other as if trying to figure out what was in each other's mind. It was awful but at some point, Taehyung felt a relief. He doesn't wanna know anymore. He felt like he would just get angry and hurt.
"Jeongguk-ah..." He called and the other just looked at his eyes, continuing what he has been doing for some minutes now.
"Hm?" Jeongguk just hummed back at him.
"I..." He mumbled and looked down on his fingers. "I... If..."
"If what?" Jeongguk asked back, waiting for him to continue talking.
"If I caught feelings..." He spoke and looked up at Jeongguk. Catching his wide eyes upon hearing what he had just said.
"Will you catch it with me?"
