Chapter 6: Controlled

Y/n POV:
I hear Payton's muffled screams as all of my vision goes completely out. I can no longer hear anything

Payton POV:
Y/n (Dad): She can't hear you anymore so stop screaming
Payton: Get out of her head
Y/n (Dad): You've gone soft Payton. Getting rid of her is the only option
Payton: I SAID GET OUT OF HER HEAD
He forces her to grab her gun. He makes her put it up to her temple. Suddenly I hear a gunshot and I notice Y/n fall to the ground. I catch her and ease us down to the floor. I look over her to make sure he didn't make her pull the trigger and I grab her gun out of her hand. If the gunshot wasn't her what could it be? I push the thought to the back of my mind as I pick her up and carry her into our room. The surgeon is in there and I glare at her before locking the door behind me. I lay Y/n down in the bed and give the surgeon a stern look.
Payton: Remove the chip. Now
Surgeon: But the boss-
Payton: I don't care what my father said. Remove the chip now
She begins stammering as she begins to take the chip out and she stitches everything back together. She walks out and I lock the door again. I walk back over to Y/n as her eyes flutter open.
Y/n: Payton?
Payton: It's me sweetheart
Y/n: What happened?
Payton: What's the last thing you remember?
Y/n: I remember you telling me to hand you my gun
Payton: Well my father took over your mind and attempted to shoot you that way. He was stopped
Y/n: How?
Payton: I'm not exactly sure but I get the feeling he won't bother you anymore
Jackson: Payton?
I walk over and unlock the door before returning back to Y/n's side
Zoe: Is she okay?
The girls rush to her side
Y/n: I'm fine now
Payton: Where's my father?
Dylan: That's what we came to tell you
Chase: The girls ran to tell us that he was trying to kill Y/n and, I shot him
Payton: Where?
Chase: Just the ribs, enough to stop him in his tracks
Payton: At least he's stopped for now but he'll probably have the surgeon fix him up quick. We've got to get Y/n safe
Jackson: Where in this mansion is safe from your father?
Payton: No where. We have to prepare for a battle. You up for it Y/n?
Y/n: Yes, but are you sure about it?
Payton: Y/n the second he threatened you, he was already on my hit-list
Dylan: I guess you do have emotions
Payton: Because of her
She smiles lightly as I look down at her. I help her up and she wipes the dried blood off of her rib. We head to the training room to grab weapons. We get finished right as he walks through the door.
Dad: You actually think you can get rid of me? You forgot how to do your job because of a naive little girl
Payton: You don't know anything about her
Dad: I know that she's about to be dead
I look at her out of the corner of my eye. She's showing no emotion, her face is completely blank. I see my father lift the gun, aiming it at her head. She dives into the obstacle course hiding behind the multiple blocks.
Dad: There's no point in running Y/n
She pulls the trigger while looking at me. He ducks, avoiding to bullet
Dad: Ha you missed
Y/n: That was the point
I pull the trigger but he pulls his as well. He drops to the ground but I hear Y/n scream. I turn to her to see her bloody hand covering her rib. I rush over to her as she hits the ground.
Payton: Someone go get the surgeon
Y/n: Payton?
Payton: Shh it's okay calm down
Her eyes close and I rip off my shirt quickly moving it to apply pressure to stop the bleeding. Her blood begins covering my hands as I look around at everyone who is frozen in shock.
Payton: SNAP OUT OF IT AND HELP ME
They scramble around the room finding rags and cloth to stop the bleeding. Zoe grabs the practice mat and I move Y/n onto it. Chase rushes in with the surgeon. I step to the side allowing her to analyze over the wound. She removes the bullet and places bandages all over her ribs. The rest of the emergency team brings in a hospital bed. They move her onto it and get in the elevator. I push the button for the 3rd floor. They push her into a free room, I sit in the chair next to her as everyone else files in.
Charli: So this is why you're not on the 3rd floor
Payton: It's for our injured after attacks
Butler: Sir?
Payton: What's going on?
Butler: We need to know what to do with your father
Payton: Beside my grandfather and hey, it's Boss to you
Butler: Of course Boss
He leaves as all of my friends look at me
Chase: Congratulations Boss
Payton: That's right. All of you go help clean up the mess in the training room. I want it spotless, we train tonight
They look at me confused but don't argue. They leave the room as I look back down at Y/n.
Payton: I'm sorry I couldn't protect you but I'll make it up to you
I stand up and leave the room. I go to the 2nd floor into our room. I take Y/n's clothes to the laundry. I make my way back down to the training room to find it spotless.
