Next day, we were going to attend Fachin's friend wedding. I was not invited still I went.
As soon as we entered Fachin shouted Tanu. A beautiful girl turned back and came towards us, when she left I asked him who was she. He said the same girl who came to the Hotel room yesterday. Tanu was wearing contact lens which confused me.
Simran, the bride came and welcomed us and asked her friend Tanu to entertain us as we didnt know anyone there. Tanu took us to the garden where the setup was getting ready for the wedding which Fachin and I already checked out before, but still we were following her.
I was curious to know how Tanu and Simran knew each other, I had to ask her about this. To my questions she replied she was Simran's patient once and gradually they became good friends.
It was afternoon, Tanu wanted to have tea, four of us Tanu, myself, Fachin and his wife went to the tea stall. The guy asked to wait for sometime and later we realized he had not added tea to the bowl in which he was preparing tea. What an idea, said Tanu and started laughing at him.
Embarrassed he ran, got a new packet of tea and finally prepared tea for all of us. I am not a tea person but still I had that tea which made all of laugh.
Simran came and took away ladies from us. Fachin and I were having our tea and I noticed Tanu had left her phone at the tea counter. I rushed and grabbed the phone thinking I will get to interact with her more now as I will have to deliver her phone back and she might think, nice guy took care of my phone when I was gone.
A couple of minutes later she came out looking for something. I knew she was looking for her phone. I waved her with her phone in my hand, I already acted as if we were good friends and I was going to take care of her things. I felt good.
She took her phone and said Thanks. I was delighted. We sat for lunch, fortunately I sat next to her. I told her I loved the curry they gave in there place and I could eat all of it. As we were finishing the food sweets came, she mentioned she doesn't want sugar sweet she wants jaggery sweet, I am not sure why but I did the same and took jaggery sweet. I don't know why I copied her, may to be impress her?
It was January, Tanu wore her over-coat which was light brown in color. Unintentionally I kept noticing her. This time I saw her properly noticed every side of her face, those eyes which were behind the lens of course. Her rings, her fingers hands.
