The Entrance Exam

All I want is someone to love me, someone who will always be there for me. But I can't ever have that. I'm unlovable. I miss you mum, I miss you so much. I hate my quirk so much I'll never be able to become a hero if everyone thinks I'm a villain. I can't even sleep anymore it's so hard without you mum. But I'll keep my promise to you, I will be a hero I'll make sure no one goes through what I have. And maybe one day I'll find someone who loves me like I love them. That would be nice.

"Oi dumbass get down here it's almost time for the exam." Coming Kacchan.

Great. Now I need to go and take the UA entrance exam, I do really want to get in but I'm worried they'll think my quirk isn't suitable since it means I can't sleep and I'm always tired. I still haven't haven't even used my quirk in combat what if it's weaken than the doctor told me. Screw it I'll just have to hit and hope.

"We're finally here, I'm going to blow up all these dammed extras and be the only person to pass this year, if you're lucky I might let you pass only because we're brothers." Oh shut up we both know that if my quirk is as strong as it's supposed be then I'll end up beating you. "How does it even work?" I get stronger whenever I'm deprived of something I want or need, that includes sleep, but because my drawback is that I can only sleep when I'm with someone I love it means I'm always deprived of sleep so I'm always getting stronger. "We've been brothers for 2 years now and you only just told me you your quirk has a drawback, why?" Because my mum is the only person I could sleep near so I didn't want to make anyone feel bad. Besides it just makes it easier for me to pass this exam. "I'm so hooking you up with someone, but last question, how do you even use it?" I just decide when I want to use it, my power surrounds my entire body so it acts as a barrier and an enhancement so it's good for both offence and defence. And when I use it I don't lose power over time so my quirk can't get weak and I can't overuse it. "Glad you want to be a hero and not a villain." Me too. I think that if use all of it at once then I eminate shockwaves, as I get stronger I'll probably start getting more destructive capabilities if I'm not careful. "You're slowly making this less of a rivalry dumbass."

Izuku and Katsuki make their way to the hall where they'll be taking the written exam and be informed on how the practical exam will work.

'Hmm this test is easier than I thought... I guess the extra studying helped. I wish I had more of a challenge' "Hey excuse me but you're starting to glow are you okay?" Oh crap, sorry sometimes I just start glowing because of my quirk please pay no attention to me. 'Crap wanting a challenge counted as deprivation so my quirk started getting stronger, oh well guess a little power up before the exam couldn't hurt.'

"Heyyyyy little listners, that's the written portion of this exam overrrrrrr. Next will be the practical, you will be faced with 4 different kinds of robots. A 1 pointer a 2 pointer and finally the 3 pointer. Destroy as many as you can using your quirk in the time limit and those with the highest score will get naturally get accepted. You may also incapacitate the robots for those of you with capture quirks. Now under your desk there will be a field name, go to the labeled field for your exam now. Good luckkkkkkkkk." Hmm seems easy enough but he never said anything about the fourth robot... "Excuse me sir but you did not give us an explanation about the fourth robot, also you the green haired boy, you should not be using your illumination quirk during the exam as a distraction." Hey man calm down I have no control over that part of my quirk which isn't illumination for the record, and stop expecting everything to be given to you on a platter, if they never gave us the details for the 4th robot it's clearly supposed to be a surprise or a trump card of some sort. So just chill out and take the exam like the rest of us okay? No need to fight. "You're exactly right little listener the 4th robot is indeed a trump card of sorts now everyone go to your designated area."

When I arrived at the examination area I was fairly surprised to see basically an entire small city filled to the brim with robots. Present Mic the officiator for the exam started counting so once he reached 1 I lazily started walking in getting barged by the people running in to rush.
