Poisonous Love

Chapter 5

"You know your cousin is barely 19 and you left her behind at night." I hear my mom shouting at Amelia.
I groan to myself and roll out of  my tiny, yet comfortable bed with a heavy duve. I spread my bed and hurriedly walks into the bathroom. I lay gently into the bathtub. I twist the knob on the tub, warm water spurted out. Getting in, I set the water to my ideal temperature and relaxed in the bathtub warm water washing me over. I grab the shampoo and lather my haur then rinsed. Once my shower is over and water turned cool, I get out and wrap my white towel over my wet body.  In panic i look at time again its almost 8 O'clock. I dry my hair and keenly put on my make- up as i look at myself on the dressing mirror. The make-up was a good contrast with official maroon trouser colour. Besides, I paired it with heels and a purse of the same colour.

I reach my closet to take my official wear to match the occassion. I grab my porch and walks downstairs only to find Amelia and mom ready for breakfast. I pull back the chair and sit to join them though my mother is kinda bitter. Thinking of what is ahead of me I didn't bother to ask since I already knew what is going on.

"Good morning mom!" I greet them.
Silence dominates the table for a while.

"U look good what's the occasion if i may ask?"she asked in a moody voice.

"I met Taylor yesterday and he told me that his father(governor) wants to see me basically i dont know why." Explained.

Ok!
"Oooh! Thanks she didnt ask about last night." I was filled with a sigh of relief.

My phone rings . I retrieve it from the pocket. Its Scott calling, I excuse myself as i bid them goodbye.

The distance  between my house and the Taylor's wasn't that long, indeed in more or less 5 minutes, I arrived. I hestitaed on the door. I took deep breath then knocked the door. Taylor's mother opened the door.
Hello, come in. You are here to see Taylor?" She asked letting me in.
"Hello, I am here to see the governor for an article writting." I replied enthusiastically.

She welcomes me in and directs me to a couch next to a big low glass window. To me it seems like a job interview. I had this  opportunity because i know it was my breakthrough.
Taylor came and said hi to me ...This was his parents house furthermore they were around so he had to behave.

I like how you matched the outift. You look extra gorgeous in it. You can be a great secretary." He said.

"I will take that as a compliment." I smiled.

"Thank you."
" Here he comes , dad this is my friend Amanda I told you about." He told his dad.
I stand to greet the governor with alot of respect. He explains everything that is needed for the job luckily she is qualified and he promises her to employee her as a secretary in his office after completing her studies.

"I need the article on Friday because i will be reading it on saturday. Here is my email u can send it there then i will have a look." He says as he takes his leave.

"This is amazing Amanda ..There u go. You are so lucky! Stay for a little because i will be lonely because my parents are going to take long till evening." He suggested

"Can we go to  the restaurant and drive to the park untill evening  or may be late afternoon?"

Um! my mom will be angry because i got home too late and I dont wana annoy her further.

" Let's struck a deal ..just make coffee I think it will be easier I wana go early today." She nods as she grabs her purse.

"Ok! As you say girl." He is unconvienced with my statement. "I will be in the kitchen." He says.

"What am i doing!" ..why am I even denying him time with me. I can't just express my love for him. I dont how it will look before my friends, Scott and even our families.

I don't want Scott to realize how close am getting with Taylor. Because he will do something terrible.
He came out with two coffee mugs placing them on the table.He handed me one mug and sat next to me . We were watching a movie as we continued sipping our coffee.
"So how is your boyfriend Scott?"  'I mean my friend'
"We always talk, laugh and hang out together". I said deep down i know i was lying. I feel like have never kissed and had sex.I didn't know how to tell him this ..It was embarrassing.

"No problem if you say so. Though i doubt your words"he said looking straight into my eyes.

"He is your friend i bet he as told you something." She defendedly said.

"Something like what?, Or how rich he is, how many girls he has fallen into his trap.?" He laughs off loudly.

I got choked and poured coffee on myself leaving my trouser wet as I laughed because I knew he was a joker.
"Oooh sorry ..is it too bad, let me wipe it off ! Just sit please." He got a cloth and wiped the spillage off. He sat at the edge of the couch looking at my moving lips ..his grew larger,
"I am sure you aren't able to comprehend Scott wine habbits properly." He grabs my palm and rubs it slowly against his."  A man  who is rude and intorelable being made into a romantic hero? Its ridiculous but  love has blind folded you. You can't see."

"See what Taylor?  Is there something you know about him and you ain't saying" 

"Amanda I might be not in your heart but I care for you. That's why I refered you to my dad so that u can grab that an opportunity. The online dating was just a away of keeping off from girls ..like Veronica and other girls from school."

I know you still love him and  I dont wana be the bad energy. I wana see you guys happy."

"Am confused, my heart started pounding inside my chest and my kness began to tremble. I must have heard him wrong, may be he is just joking. I gulped as i willed myself to ask him if he meant every word he said.

"Hey  do you mean all those words"

In a voice softer than I could have ever imagined coming from him, this time round he moved closer and knelt between my legs. Taylor spoke with his face showing seriousness though his was saying the opposite. I wanted to hear him saying I wana love you, take you to a date far away and spend days and even months with me.

"I am going to be your hero,  I will protect and care for you." He looked at me to gauge my reaction and I had no idea what expression my face carried at the moment. He brought his lips more closer.
Taylor stops the runs his hands through his hair and he sighs." Don't worry about, am sorry. Am not suppose to kiss you Amanda. It feels awkward."  Neither sarcasm nor humour featured in his expression.

I looked at his eyes and his pupils dilates. " I hadn't realize how juicy and pinky his lips are" I hug him. His hands on my back rubbing it slowly up and down. He removes his hands  from my back and I steal a glance at his lips once more. The more I continue starring the more my conscious and hormones are fighting. I can't help it and i crash my lips against his. It tastes sweeter. His hands moves down to my bare thighs and caressed them. He proceeds further almost to my underwear. I desperately need to jerk off. I put a finger on his lips.
Hushh you are rotten. He raises his eyebrows as I pull away from our lips.

" I can't do this and its getting late too..

I didn't know  you had a thing for me Amanda. He told me

"Of  course no we were caught off guard. Let it not happen again."  Although I wanted more and more I looked into his eyes they are much darker yet softer indeed he felt the scent of sex. He stands and my eyes goes down to his fly, his length  has bulged. Whoa !whoa! what's that ..I shy off and cover my eyes with my two palms.
Am sorry for that though it was nothing hope very soon i will find out what you are made of. She laughs off
"I guess so " will you give me a ride back home because your parents will be back soon. I dont want them to find me here.
"Ok fine . Lets go" he smirks.
On monday we have a test and I haven't read. You will help in biology.
Scotts spotted Taylor and Amanda chattering and smilling to each other in a cozy way.
