(I feel kind of guilty of writing d.o in that kind of scene. so, here's another version)
"Kai, we need to talk." D.o pulled me to the couch.
"What is it about?" I wrapped my arms around him as we sat next to each other.
"About us." D.o sighed and looked down.
"Baby, what's wrong?" I grabbed his chin gently and made him look at me.
"I was really afraid that you would reject my feelings if I told you that I liked you. I tried to send signals but everytime, it feels as if you did not or even could not get any of it. I was prepared to give up on you. All that has happened is too overwhelming." D.o's eyes were starting to tear.
"Honey." I kissed his eyes to stop the tears and pulled him into my chest. "I love you, alright?"
