Tranquility is a recluse, he lives far away from civilization, his home in unknown to many. He is a world traveler, an explorer of the globe. He's hard to find, unless you look in the right places. He doesn't hide, doesn't run from anybody. He doesn't have a job, and lives by himself. When he was younger, he worked in a library, stacking books and smiling. Spending long days alone on the upper floors where people rarely tread. A ruffled page, smoothed out, a window cracked open, the sun seeping in. This was how he spent his days. He didn't mind when people walked up the marble steps to the top of the library, looking for a research book, or some ancient poetry. But when there were too many voices, throwing books around, and screaming, he was gone. Now the only time he sees people is when they want to find him, seeking out his wisdom, which undoubtedly comes with age. He enjoys having company, teaching the people who visit him, sharing the knowledge he learned from countless books, encyclopedias, he knows it all.
Tranquility is very good friends with Peace, who like his brother, is a recluse. Peace is hidden away, tucked into obscure corners, unknown to many. Some say that Tranquility knows where Peace is hiding, and if you want to find Peace, you must talk to Tranquility first. Some people have stumbled upon Tranquility, some have found him wandering a secluded beach. Others have claimed to have seen him relaxing on a park bench, observing the azure sky, sitting and watching. Wherever he goes, Tranquility brings along with him a silent sigh of contentedness, a reminder that sometimes we must take a step back from our lives, take time to contemplate. In his many travels, he has seen so much, but little change in the hearts of people. Tranquility is growing old, he moves around less, and is steadily becoming harder to find. He's slowing down, but is as calm as ever. He allows nothing to disrupt his steady meditation, his state of mind is never changing. And although he has seen hard times, he still has hope.
