Chapter 5

Ace's POV

It's been a month and Baek had been successful at ignoring me. More precisely, not uttering a single word to me.

And I still have no fucking idea why he's doing this. Is it because I kissed him? But we both wanted it.

Fuck!

I'm losing my patience on that kid. Even when I joined him in bed, he still ignored me. Should I tickle him to death until he says something? Nah. I'll save that for later.

Thud!

"Hey, Pres! You're not in your game again!" a ball just hit me in the head while I was in daze thinking about my little brother. My friends and I are playing basketball at the school gym.

I picked up the ball and threw it to the basket from where I was standing. Three points. I heard the whistle. End of game.

I heard students sigh and booed. Fuck! I walked towards the bleachers to get some water.

"Damn it, Ace! That could have been three points for us! You fucking shot it on the wrong basket, you moron!" Pete yelled at me.

I glared at my friend and teammate. My friends don't like my glares. It silences them.

Since the game was over, the students started to scatter again, leaving the gym.

Kas sat next to me and took a bottle for himself and threw one at Pete's direction. "What's the matter, boss?" Kas asked me.

I sighed. And again.

Kas turned to me blinking his eyes a thousand fucking times. What the-- "Dude, I think you got the wrong person to display your twinkling eyeballs to."

I didn't notice his boyfriend rushing on our side. His bottled water was thrown somewhere. "Fuck, Ace! You fucking sighed! TWICE!!"

"Oho!!! Someone finally made your stone heart to beat?" Kas teased me.

I sighed.

Fuck! Why does my chest feels like lacking of oxygen?

"Holy Cupid! You are in love!!! But why does it look like your stone heart is bleeding?" Pete is shaking my shoulder back and Ace. I smacked it. But I didn't say anything.

"Does the president need some heeeeeelp?" Kas is pressing his index finger on my chest where my stupid heart is located.

"Tsk!" I abruptly stood up. The rest of the team are just watching us. Waiting for my command to scram. "I can handle it!"

"You hear that guys? President Jirayung needs our help." Kas announced to the team.

"With his love life!" Pete added the fuel.

"He is heartbroken and we need to find the culprit!" Kas lighted the fire.

"Bring this boy or girl to the student council office by the end of the day. Comprendo?!" Big fire has started.

"SIR! YES, SIR!" Burn me in hell.

And why am I just standing here? Oh yeah. Commands. "What are your waiting for?! Scram!" I told my teammates to leave the court.

"You're not very nice to your subjects, King Ace." Kas picked up a towel and clung his arm around Pete. We're the last ones left in the gym.

"Subjects, my ass!" I also picked my own towel and started heading to the entrance.

"Dude, who is this unlucky person anyway. Better be a student here or the kids wouldn't be able to bring them at the office." Pete said as he opened the doors.

"He's a freshman." I said as we stepped out of the gym. My two friends' eyes widened in disbelief.

"Dude! Pedo alert!!! Pete wrapped his arms around his boyfriend protectively. I smacked his head.

"I'm not eighteen yet either. If I start a relationship with him now, he's only two years younger than me." We all headed to our lockers.

"You even read the laws? You got it bad, boss!" Kas turned to me when we got inside the locker. After this, we are going for lunch.

I didn't entertain the rest of their buzzing chats and questions. My mind is still filled with my little brother's 'ignoring me' attitude.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS???!!!My blood boils as I entered my office, I mean the student council office. It's full of students brought in by my basketball teammates.

"Hello, P'Ace. I'm sorry I broke your heart. I'm here for my punishment." A second year female student said.

First years have green ties. Second years have blue ones. Seniors have red. Boys wear black pants and white shirt. Girls wear skirts at least a knee length and white shirts.

"Ace! Baby! I'm sorry... Let's start over, yes?" One of my one night fucks is here. Shit!

"No, P'Ace. It's me, right?" a freshman I think that I helped pick up his books from the ground when he bumped into me.

"Can you all scram? My boyfriend and i need to have a talk!" Fuck! My cousin Waine is here. This is not good.

"P'... You promised to buy me sushi... You didn't forget, right?" Yo is talking in his sweet innocent voice. But to me, he is making that look. 'Say no and you're going down!'

"Of course, I didn't forget, baby." I tried to force a smile. It probably looked creepy.

"You hear that, dipshits! Now, leave!!!" Everyone whined after hearing my cousin. They all left the council office.

Waine removed himself from me like I'm a fucking plague. He flopped on the swivel chair behind my desk. "So, I will have my sushi tonight." Waine said as he spun my chair around.

"And..." There's more? "You need to tell me this person who broke your heart. I want a best friend."

Fuck me.

If Waine and Baek become allies, I'm in deep shit! He might even help Baek ignore me for the rest of my life.

I can't let that happen!

"Who said I am heartbroken?" I took a seat in front of my cousin. I tried to look as calm as I could. Waine can be persistent. When he wants something, he will do anything to get it.

"You're not?" He raised an eyebrow. "Okay. I'll find out soon anyway." He stood up and fixed his hair. "Let's find me my best friend!"

Damn it! He looks enthusiastic.

After Waine left, I messaged Pete and Kas on our group chat.

<Me: Don't let my cousin anywhere near Baek Jirayung. Protect my baby.>

After sending it, I hurried to the cafeteria where my little brother will be and his crazy gang. They must be having their afternoon snacks. It's 3:30 pm. Their classes are over.

My loyal subjects better do their job properly this time. My Baek cannot meet Waine.
