A Day At The Park - Richard

I am soooo sorry this came out so late anon! I swear I didn't forget about it! I wanted to finish this the night you gave me the request then school started back up and things got a little more hectic.....*I also know nothing of Aaliyah's custody arrangement between Richard and Yocelyn. So the situation mentioned is not real in any way, and if it is, it's purely a coincidence that I guessed it right.

You and Richard have been dating for a few months and you can honestly say he makes you the happiest girl in the world. He treats you like a queen, takes you out for dinner, and not mention how good the sex was. His parents liked you as well. Almost every time you see them they had nothing but good things to say about you. And how every time Richard sees them he can't stop talking about you.

All this was nice but there was a person you still had yet to officially meet. Richard's other world and princess: Aaliyah. Though you've been with Richard for a few months you have yet to actually meet Aaliyah. She was either with her mom, sleeping, or you were too busy with work.

This weekend, however, Richard had set up a day at the park where you, him, and Aaliyah could bond. To say you were excited was an understatement. After all, this is gonna be the first time you meet Aaliyah. How could you not be happy? You've seen enough of Richard's Instagram and Snapchat stories to know somewhat of what to expect with Aaliyah. She seemed so sweet and innocent.

When the weekend finally came around, you were both excited and nervous. You were basically meeting someone you knew almost everything about but has no idea who you are. Weird how that works out? How you can know everything about someone and never meet them in person. You get lost in your thoughts about the different scenarios that could happen.

"Y/N. You ready to go?" Richard breaks you from your thoughts by placing his hand on your thigh. You grin widely and nod, following him to the car. You get in the passenger seat and Richard gets into the driver's seat. You couldn't help the nervous tapping of your foot.

Richard looks over at you, reaching a hand over to squeeze your knee reassuringly. "You're gonna be fine. Aaliyah loves meeting new people.""I know, I'm fine. I'm just more excited than nervous." You reply, reaching to intertwine your hand with his. When the car reaches a stoplight, Richard turns to you and places a kiss on your lips.

When you reach the park where Yocelyn is going to drop off Aaliyah, Richard finds an open parking space. He turns the car off and turns to look at you. You were looking the in the mirror of the sun visor, making sure there was nothing in your teeth when you felt Richard's eyes on you. You turn to face him. "Do I look okay?"

He doesn't reply immediately, entranced by the way you look in the sun's rays. Almost like you were glowing. You take his non-verbal response and quickly check the mirror again. He suddenly grabs your hand again and tells you to look at him. "You are so beautiful," he looks deep into your eyes. "You look absolutely perfect." You could hear the genuine tone in his voice. He really meant what he said.

You'll admit, seeing Richard's softer side was a nice change once in a while. He leans in and lands a kiss on your lips. You kiss back. It didn't take much effort to get either of you hooked. You only stopped when a car pulled into the spot next to you. You look past Richard and see Yocelyn in the driver's seat.You stay in the car for a moment, taking a few deep breaths and fixing your shirt.... well, fiddling with it. You hear another car door open and Richard exclaims, "Hey there baby girl!" Followed by an excited, high-pitched, "Daddy!" You can't help but smile. You open the door and get out, looking over the car and seeing Richard hold up Aaliyah up in the sky. She's giggling and laughing like crazy.
